I was at this restaurant yesterday. There were six of us and we ate divinely. The ingredients were carefully sourced and not mistreated. Excellent service, perfectly timed. Highly recommended!

I returned to Benigni's after many years, and I must say it was like stepping back in time! I used to go there when I was young, and finding it so welcoming, attentive, and authentic was a wonderful feeling. It's wonderful to see how tradition has been passed down from generation to generation, maintaining the same spirit and quality. Delicious dishes, exquisite pizza, excellent grilled meats, a warm atmosphere—it's a real pleasure to return!

Entrance for hotel is on the left hand side of the building down a driveway with parking in the back. Rooms are neat and clean. Maybe a little dated but not by much. It’s in a good location with several bars and dining options right next to it. If waking the via Francigena it is just part the old village section after you walk under the old porta or gate. WiFi works great.

A traditional stopping point for generations providing good quality accommodation and excellent food, with a great beer and wine choice. The entrance to the hotel is along the side of the building, and check in is generally after 3pm. If you are eating try to get a table near the fire/grill as watching the chief and the Nonna and her staff is most entertaining. If available the Porcini mushroom is excellent. The pizzas are very large. If you want a full night's sleep ask for a quiet room as the square outside comes to life about 5.30am.

04/03/2026: We had two lotus tiramisu, cinnamon, and dried apple, which were really good and reasonably priced. The place was very cozy, but the staff was questionable—we didn't even speak Italian, but they were friendly.

01/11/2025: A gem of a restaurant, with tables overlooking Lake Nemi. A quiet and relaxed atmosphere, perfect for a relaxing lunch (or dinner). The cuisine is top-notch; the lake fish ravioli and fried fish are a must-try. Highly recommended. Anna Maria and Lucia provide exceptional service and hospitality.
