Hotel Ristorante Altamira In Chieti

An excellent and elegant property located on the main road just outside Orsogna, easily accessible by car and 20-25 minutes from the sea at Ortona. The hotel is very clean and quiet. The pool with sun loungers and umbrellas is ideal for a relaxing break. Breakfast is excellent, with hot and cold drinks and an abundance of delicious sweets, fruit, and savory options. Dinner was truly excellent, with compliments to the chef. Special mention goes to all the staff, who, in addition to being consistently professional, were always available to meet every need. The property has a large and convenient indoor parking area. Hotel Wi-Fi is available. The only small flaw was the double room, which was a bit small. In fact, ours was a single room converted into a double, but I understand that during the central week of August, they try to accommodate all guests as best they can, and I must say they succeeded perfectly.

Our experience at Altamira Restaurant was positive. It was a strategic location for relaxing afternoon excursions by the pool and a very good poolside dinner with excellent service. Many thanks, compliments to the owners. Excellent value for money!!!

Very spacious quadruple room, perhaps a bit dated in its renovation. Breakfast was plentiful and varied. The price was more than fair. The pool is available for a relaxing break. An excellent location for a food and wine tour, including Abruzzo arrosticini and Montepulciano wineries. Overall, highly recommended.

Beautiful hotel on the outside, lovely pool, shame about the freezing water! Friendly owner, rooms a bit dirty and dated. Top breakfast.

We went to the restaurant like every year, and the review can only be positive: the quality of the dishes was high and the price was fair. The only flaw was that the waiter didn't recommend the metre-sized appetizer, which wasn't listed on the menu... but next time we'll be ready to ask. Not the metre-sized appetizer, I correct myself, but the fried fish by the metre! But next time we'll order it 👍

Ci siamo fermati una sola notte perché eravamo di passaggio. Abbiamo scelto l'opzione mezza pensione. La cena è stata ottima, servita nell'elegante gazebo accanto alla piscina. La camera molto confortevole e perfettamente pulita. La colazione molto varia e abbondante. Personale accogliente, professionale ed efficiente. Ottimo il consiglio che ci è stato dato di andare a vedere il punto panoramico dal piazzale della Chiesa di Orsogna: splendida veduta della Majella e delle valanghe. Mery e Roberto
