Carnia is a magical place, a bubble nestled in the equally splendid region of Friuli. We discovered it by chance and fell in love not only with the place, but also with its people. Strong, proud, hard-working, sincere, and always kind and smiling. Hotel Posta is a reflection of these places and these people. Francesca, the owner, and all the staff, from the front desk to the dining room and kitchen staff to the cleaning ladies, are incredibly kind and always available! The food is divine; I've rarely seen such a generous breakfast, and lunch and dinner are truly TOP! And the rooms!!!! All in wood, with truly extraordinary attention to detail, from the paintings to the geraniums adorning the balcony, to the kettle with its assortment of infusions and herbal teas! Please note that, beyond the rooms, this is evident throughout the hotel. The massages and sauna are done in charming little barrels—they look so beautiful, they look like wedding favors! Last but not least, the location of the hotel, with a truly stunning view of the mountains and the village of Forni di Sopra! Recommended for - cleanliness and a lovely family room with two bathrooms - terrace with a small drying rack and table - heated outdoor pool and more - private garden - free mountain bikes, although basic - friendly and always helpful staff. Meanwhile: breakfast and food are average. Rooms facing the street and the bar are obviously less quiet. To access the pool area, you must exit the hotel entrance.

A point of reference for being pampered, a clean hotel with spacious and comfortable rooms, attentive service in the dining room, cutting-edge cuisine, light dishes prepared with love (sincere compliments) I hope to have the opportunity to return.
