Hotel Petrarca Vital Centre Ristorante In Montegrotto terme

We often stay at this property, but unfortunately this time the experience didn't live up to expectations, especially considering the price increase compared to the previous year (60-80 euros more). We booked a support room, as we have done in the past, but unlike last year, we weren't provided with a bathrobe kit, even though it was included at the time. When we reported this, we were told "it wasn't provided." Furthermore, the room was cold. We immediately reported the problem, but despite being told they would fix it, no improvement was noticed. It's unfortunate to leave a negative review, especially for a property we've stayed at several times, but the lack of customer service and the discrepancy with past experiences cannot go unnoticed, especially considering the price paid. I hope these observations will be taken as a starting point to improve the quality of service, so that we can confidently choose them again in the future.

I booked a backup room at the day spa. The only room available was a suite. I called the night before and it was fine. Honestly, I would have expected something more like a suite, but I won't go into details. The only thing I would have expected, however, was to have a warm room... despite two complaints, the temperature was only acceptable at 6 pm. It can happen, of course, as a problem, but a heater would have been enough. If I have the chance, I'll return, especially considering the pools, which are not bad, but I must admit that overall the experience was not pleasant, especially considering the total cost, which included a bathrobe and the cost of the pools.

We only used the pools. Excellent facility, with connected indoor and outdoor pools and a beautiful Olympic-sized pool. The hydromassage facilities in the various pools are a bit slow in the morning, with fairly long waits. Friendly staff and excellent cleanliness. In my opinion, there are too many loungers, one next to the other. Perhaps I would reduce the quantity a bit to improve the quality of the space, perhaps by adding storage facilities and keeping people more spaced out. The indoor bar offers lunch with a varied menu and overall average prices. The changing rooms are clean and spacious. I would also invest in Petrarch's image, perhaps by displaying poems and sonnets, or thinking of something else.

I know Hotel Petrarca since years and in particular, living not far away from Montegrotto, I often go there for the daily SPA service. The pools and the SPA services are huge and truly well done to me even if, during the years, they tend to be a little worn-out and in need of update (even if always clean!). For this kind of daily access, I found the reception a little confusing as very little information was shared on how to “navigate” accross the building. The cherry on top of my relaxing day: the 50 minutes massage in the expert hands of Miss Manola!

I only went for swimming pools. I like outdoor swimming pools with warm water. They were clean. It was chill. Mostly older people. The food in the bar was not great, but the staff was nice.

A top-quality spa with a great price/quality ratio, friendly staff, a relaxing atmosphere, a well-maintained location, and various hydromassage jets throughout the many indoor and outdoor pools. Worth a try.

Beautiful thermal pools suitable for everyone. Ugly changing rooms, old showers, and bathrooms. Bar service is quick but not friendly.

Numerous and good thermal pools but they require more maintenance, as does the sauna/Turkish bath area
