Hotel Oxford In Roma

Perfect location for all the sights. Easy access to buses metro trains but also on foot you can see all of Rome.

Soooooo, there's a great deal of whiny criticism of this hotel in the reviews, so let's set the record straight. The lift, tiny, postage stamp sized only one person and suitcase fits. BUT they took our cases to the room for us. So we took the lift, and they showed us to our room. R Lift size issue null and void! Pretty damn good for the price. All the staff are incredibly warm and friendly. And helpful. Nothing was to much and they were full of useful local knowledge. The room - now then, its a ROOM not a apartment. There is ample space to sleep, to wash, to dress and then go and see the magnificent city you have decided to visit. I'm a 6ft biker with a belly and it was plenty comfy, spacious and I'd happily recommend. Food - unhappy? You're in Rome, go out the front door and pick a direction, there'll be something you like. All in all its a great base of operations for a wander around a city. Rosa on reception was particularly bright and helpful.

The hotel is located in the historic center in a beautiful and comfortable building. The atmosphere is always clean and fragrant. The cuisine features excellent Roman specialties, including matriciana and carbonara. The staff are friendly and helpful, and the breakfast is excellent. The Oxford Hotel is my favorite hotel in Rome.

Nice hotel but definitely not 4 star. No tea and coffee facilities in the room let's this hotel down.

More than four stars I would say max three!

Had a wonderful 5 nights here. Definitely worth including breakfast in the room rate. On a quieter leafy street which was lovely. Cafes, restaurants and Pamlocal close by. Also enjoyed a couple of dinners at the restaurant next door. Recommended.

Wouldn't call this a 4 star hotel, more like a nice 2 star. We stayed for 1 week. Service was amazing, very nice staff, and it was clean. If we had any problems or needs, they were met right away. However, it is an old hotel, small room, bed made of only springs, flat pillows. There was just sheets on the bed. Then for extra bedding there was 2 fleece blankets that were small for the size of the bed. We had to use both to cover the whole thing. Overall we had just an okay time here, even had some champagne at an outside table. So there's nothing too bad about this hotel, but just not quite there for it being rated a 4 star hotel.

My husband and I visited for our silver wedding anniversary. I cant explain how much . This hotel and all of the staff have given us the most perfect time . I can not explain the love , heart n soul this hotel has given us. Each and every one is now fixed in our hearts forever. Till we return very soon live love laugh x

The exterior renovations were annoyingly disruptive during our stay, there was no mention of it on the travel agency's website. The noise was quite loud in the morning, but I didn't really feel like spending time in the hotel after that. The breakfast was a bit modest.
