Hotel Locarno Rome Restaurant In Roma

I would give 10 stars if possible! I loved every minute at the hotel! The reception team, the bar/restaurant team, housekeeping... everybody were PERFECT ! The service is greater than at other 5* hotels I've stayed in Rome! The room was perfect. Breakfast menu/service was top. Also I would like to pay a special attention to the Locarno Bar which is definitely one of the best bars I've ever been to! Can't wait to come back!!

Rooms were fantastic, spacious and classically designed yet they were clean and well-maintained. The service was outstanding the concierge was always timely responding to requests, the bar and restaurant staff were excellent too. We especially enjoyed the relaxing evenings at Bar Locarno and food were delicious too (both breakfast and dinner)! The location is the hotel is well connected next to Piazza Del Poppolo. It’s also a nicely located to escape the noise and just relax :) a stay worth while. We had a lovely 3 nights stay at Hotel Locarno!

Location a due passi da piazza del popolo, servizio attento ma discreto, finger food di qualità e soprattutto un risotto alla pescatora da lacrima. Ottima scelta di vini e prezzi in linea con l’eccellenza di quanto descritto.

A very cozy hotel with an excellent location in the center of Rome. The luxurious served breakfast was a great start to the day. The staff in the restaurant are very nice and attentive. The hotel offers bicycle rental... We took them to the Borghese Gallery, which is in a nearby park.

A sanctuary in a lovely location. The breakfast every morning was a highlight of our trip. I will stay here every time I come to Rome.

I spent a couple of very pleasant evenings at the BAR LOCARNO. The atmosphere is crazy, the cocktails extraordinary and the staff very kind. Special thanks go to Maurizio, Nicholas, Juan and Daniele, who were able to transform the wait at the counter into chatter and entertainment. And again Ilaria, Luca and Luca, Andrea, Alessandro, Vittoria and Olga at the welcome that gave the Locarno bar a taste of home that is difficult to find in other cocktail bars in Rome. Highly recommended!!

This is a unique hotel. Each room is different and I could not find a single detail that was anything less than perfect. Here you get the experience and service of a top 5star luxury hotel with the personable experience of a boutique hotel. The bar has unique drinks on the menu and I definitely recommend the 'Wolf, I solve problems' an enchanting gin based fizz that I have to hold myself from ordering more. Although now it's a bit on the chilly side in the evenings, it's still time to sit in the courtyard terrace that is so quaint with the additional perk of being able to enjoy a cigar. The first thing that hits you when you enter the hotel is the kind smiles of all the personnel. Everyone is so genuinely and warmly nice, that you just feel at home from the first moment. When I left Rome the time I spent at the Locarno left me another warm memory as it had a big part in making my stay most pleasant also for my friends who visited me there. It's not the first time I stay there and surely not the last one either! Finally for those in search of a little more than the the intimate experience, the salons of the Locarno a populated with famous journalists, TV and movie stars, and many faces that you will be familiar with. Of course nobody bothers them with pictures or asks for authographs, in line with the low profile style of the house. I'm very picky on service, and this is one of the very few places I can recommend with no reservations.

We went for the bar, which is known for its cocktails. The sitting areas were beautiful- super cozy and decorated nicely for Christmas. But we were told that there were no tables available, even though the various rooms were all largely open throughout the time we were there. The cocktails were very good, but not revolutionary and given the stuffiness of the service, I wouldn’t necessarily go back again.
