I'm surprised at some of the very bad reviews. We spent one night here as a group of 8 people and there was nothing to complain about. The service from both the hotel and the restaurant was very friendly (ok, you might have to understand a bit of joking), the rooms were tidy (and air-conditioned, which was very pleasant at 36 degrees) and the food was very good. Nothing was missing at breakfast either. We will happily book here again.

I am very sorry to give such a low rating because the hotel deserves it and is very beautiful. But my room, mind you, wasn't bad, but incomplete. No minibar or at least 1-2 free bottles of water available, and then I would have expected a shower gel dispenser in the bathroom. Instead I found a sachet of single-dose shower gel. Mine may have been the cheapest room in the hotel and perhaps the other rooms are more complete, in any case I don't understand why these differences.

Nice clean room with a great view of the mountain landscape. The breakfast was very tasty and the selection was excellent. There is a great storage room for bicycles.

The rooms are a bit outdated but the service is very good. Friendly welcome and friendly staff. Nice view from the balcony.

01/09/2024: Abbiamo pranzato in giardino, dopo la bella Passeggiata di Freud. Menù tipico, buoni il tagliere misto, i canederli e super lo spezzatino! Gentilissimo tutto il personale, prezzi corretti
04/08/2024: During our stay we came 3 times and we were pleasantly surprised. The dishes are excellent, you feel that everything is homemade with fresh produce. The welcome is perfect. The staff is super friendly and attentive, you immediately feel good. It's really nice to see so much kindness. The menu also offers delicious local specialties and it was a real treat. And then, the dogs! They are adorable and bring a unique ambiance. For animal lovers, this is a real plus. In summary, a restaurant where you eat very well and where you feel at home. I highly recommend !

25/08/2024: Quando era piú piccolo era un po’ il fiore all’occhiello dell’Alpe, adesso è simile a tutti gli altri, comunque i piatti sono buoni: kaisermarren, polenta ecc…
08/08/2024: Il sito è un po' infossato, tuttavia una sosta vale sempre la pena. Gli interni sono curati e offrono un certo confort agli ospiti temporanei. Lo strudel era buono ma freddo. Personale di servizio ai tavoli: efficiente.
