25/05/2025: Located at 2,500 meters above sea level at the top station of the Seceda cable car above Ortisei, this mountain restaurant offers stunning views—especially from the terrace and the tables near the glass wall. The place is decently staffed, so service is fairly quick, although it’s not particularly refined, which is to be expected for an alpine eatery. The menu includes a range of pasta dishes and Tyrolean specialties. I had the tagliatelle with deer ragù. The sauce was decent, and there was plenty of meat—good for those with a big appetite—but the quality varied, with some tougher cuts and a few pieces containing tendons. At €33 for a plate of pasta and a cappuccino, it’s on the expensive side. This place is worth it if you’re already at the top and want to enjoy the view over lunch. Otherwise, it might be better to bring a picnic, eat before heading up, or wait until you’re back down—likely more economical and possibly tastier.
