Hotel Elefant In Ora

Quiet and comfy hotel in the heart of the wine yards. Rooms are spacious and most of them with a lovely balcony with a sight on the mountain. Breakfast is good, as well as the restaurant.

A great hotel 🤗 very central 👍 and the rooms are fantastic. The Bonell family were always very friendly and if there were any minor issues they were resolved immediately 👍. The service was also very good 😃. We stayed in Haus Tyrol, which belongs to the Elefant and is a bit quieter. The inner courtyard is beautifully designed and the rooms were also fantastically clean. I would highly recommend this hotel. We stayed at the Hotel Elefant from August 13th to 18th. The breakfast is plentiful and there is something for everyone. The small restaurant next door is also highly recommended; the food is delicious and the waiters were always very friendly. All in all I can only say it was a fantastic holiday and we will be back 😃.

A quiet lovely hotel. A small town with good food and good staff the view is brilliant there wasn't any soap in my room but I don't know if that's a general problem even so it's easily fixed overall a brilliant hotel surprised it certainly has three stars doesn't have a pool

Called in for a quick coffee and the service was rapid, way quicker than a fast food outlet. The staff friendly and polite, apple strudel was good then coffee was ok but not special.

A decent hotel in the center of Ora. We disagree with the many bad reviews: the dinner was good (a bit overpriced), with prompt and friendly service. The room and breakfast were all good. The only downside: at check-in, they needed our ID for 20 minutes (???), and in the morning there was no one at the desk, so we left without our ID. Fortunately, there were people traveling with us who were going the same way and were able to take theirs.

Nice hotel, good food, very friendly staff but the older lady and the young man (I think his son) still have a lot of work to do on being friendlier.

I recently spent a couple of weeks at the Hotel Elefant, a conveniently located 3-star hotel in the center of Aures. My room was very spacious and comfortable, contributing to an enjoyable stay. Although the curtains could be improved to better block out light, it wasn't a significant problem. One annoyance was the air conditioning, which would randomly stop or reset to a higher temperature, forcing me to readjust it. Additionally, I experienced some occasional issues with the Wi-Fi, but fortunately, it didn't happen very often. The breakfast was excellent, offering a wide variety of high-quality options. However, during peak times when the hotel is full, the breakfast room can become overcrowded and uncomfortable, but this was not a frequent occurrence. The staff was friendly and helpful, but it's worth noting that there is no 24-hour reception. When my transportation was delayed, and they had to wait for me, they seemed quite annoyed. Overall, I had a pleasant stay at Hotel Elefant, and its central location in Aures is a definite plus. While there are a few areas that could be improved, I would still recommend it to others looking for a comfortable and convenient place to stay.

We only stopped there for lunch. We were satisfied with the food.

Ideal for cycling and hiking. Clean and well-maintained. Rooms could be a bit larger, especially the bathroom, which is more suited to slim people. My wife wanted a softer mattress, which was promptly resolved. The waiter loves his job and enjoys it.
