An excellent room, with an excellent view, in a beautiful and very central historic hotel.

Extraordinary welcome: great kindness, professionalism and helpfulness from everyone who made the stay very pleasant and relaxing.

Lovely place! A bit deserted in the summer, but the place still has a very Italian feel. The hotel staff is very accommodating and friendly. The rooms are a bit dated.

Would have given this a 5 star review but there was a couple of issues for improvement. In the bar, a local came in and it appeared he was trying to scam drinks from American visitors. It made several uncomfortable. The staff kind of laughed at him, but they probably should have asked him to stop or leave. He eventually left on his own. The safe didn't work and a staff member had to be called whenever it needed opened. Other than these two things, the hotel hit all marks and was excellent.

We were disappointed with our room. The door didnt lock from the inside. The safe was locked and we couldn’t use it. It was very hot in our room and no air conditioning. The bathroom flooded every time we took a shower. The electricity went out for a while.
