Very kind staff. Attentive to customer needs. The waiters in the restaurant were very kind and friendly. Great location and simple, good food. The only flaw is noisy rooms. Not very soundproofed, if like us you end up with a room under the restaurant room, be prepared for a continuous noise of tables and chairs and footsteps. Furthermore, we had a couple in the next room who had been talking and calling loudly since 7.00 in the morning. This is the only flaw. And despite this we liked it. Advised.

Good hotel just outside the historic center of Assisi. Large, clean and well furnished room. The bathroom was clean, but a little old. The restaurant is excellent. Stunning panorama towards the valley.

Questa è una vera tenuta immersa nel verde ed in una totale pace. Proprietari di una disponibilita' esemplare, personale squisito, locali pulitissimi, cibo ottimo ed abbondante, prezzi molto giusti. La pizza è buona, impasto basico, ma ad ognuno il suo gusto................. Dolci eccezionali. Ci rivedremo signori, consigliatissimo!!!!!!!

Borgo della Marmotta

14/01/2025: Delightful structure and very private. Living it in spring/summer must be even more relaxing with the presence of the swimming pool.
29/09/2024: We stayed at Borgo della Marmotta for 5 nights and loved our time there. The property is stunning and the perfect blend of rustic, cozy, and thoughtful. PROS: beautiful setting, great pool area, clean/simple/cozy rooms (we stayed in a superior), warm/helpful staff (thank you Luca for making our stay so special!), and nice breakfast spread (meats/cheeses, fruit, baked goods, coffee). CONS: our mattress was very firm and not the most comfortable (this is a personal preference), persistent issues with A/C in the room (however, the staff was very responsive and worked to help fix the problem which was so appreciated), and dinner food was just ok (we had better meals outside of the hotel). For us the pros significantly outweighed the few cons. We had a fantastic stay and will definitely be returning on our next visit to Umbria!

02/07/2024: The Locanda dello Stradino ... remains on the SS3 78 state road in Pissignano, province of Perugia, and opens and closes at 11.30 pm ... has a magnificent spacious and well-furnished room and there are also outdoor tables, there is WIFI, and also offers a children's menu. It is worth knowing that in this inn many types of delicious pizzas are brought to the table, as well as excellent ravioli and delicious appetizers. Here you can also find many dishes of Umbrian cuisine... including cured meats, cheeses, pumpkin and anchovy pizzas, homemade strangozzi and gnocchi, tagliatelle with truffles, seared lamb finger, tagliatelle with porcini mushrooms, all with side dishes of chicory, grilled vegetables, cabbage and potatoes, roast potatoes with wild fennel, then there are the desserts... cream tart, chocolate cake with a warm heart and cream ice cream, and tozzetti with Sagrantino passito. The prices for the pizzas and the fixed menu are very cheap, however for lunch or dinner the prices are normally they range from 10 to 20 euros for pizzas and fixed menus and then from 30 to 40 euros for lunch and dinner at least to clarify, but one thing is certain if you pass by here you will leave very satisfied.
