Hotel Chalet Il Capriolo In Madesimo

Fantastic hotel and the owner Athos who goes that little extra for his guests! The hotel is close to the lifts and the food was appreciated by both us adults and children (half board). We can highly recommend Capriolo!

First weekend of the year on the snow, hotel in an excellent location just steps from the ski lifts, a little dated but still very beautiful and characteristic, very friendly staff and the owner Athos always available and kind. Parking reserved for guests outside the hotel. Excellent restaurant with a wide selection (we were half-board and had 6 or 7 starters and main courses to choose from). A well-stocked wine cellar at fair prices. The only downside is the rooms, clean and well-kept, but small and in need of a bit of modernization... The bathroom is basic, although the lack of a bidet is a letdown, but the shower is quite spacious and comfortable. In conclusion: I would return because it feels like "family," even if it's my first time there. Athos is very good and makes up for any small shortcomings with passion and dedication to the customer.
