Hotel Chalet Il Capriolo In Madesimo

Very welcoming hotel and restaurant in the center of Madesimo, a few steps from the ski slopes. Excellent Alpine dishes prepared with care. You will find both traditional specialties from Valchiavenna and dishes from other mountain areas. You will be welcomed by hospitable people in a very characteristic environment, in perfect Alpine style.

In passing they advise us to go through this exercise to taste the best BOMBARDINO in Madesimo.... I recommend it

Durante un giro in alta val chiavenna, ci siamo fermati presso lo Chalet il Capriolo per una sosta pranzo. L’ambiente ben arredato in stile alpino, dona un senso di calore . Nel menu spiccano ovviamente i piatti locali fra cui evidenzio volentieri la qualità dei gnocchetti di Madesimo, piccola variante ai chiavennaschi. La lista dei secondi offre fra l’altro oltre ai classici piatti, anche un würstel con cipolle e rösti,preso in prestito dalla vicina Svizzera. Immancabile fra i dessert lo strudel di mele, arricchito di panna montata. Il conto non riserva nessuna particolare sorpresa. Unica piccola nota, magari un po’ più d’empatia non sarebbe male.

Went for lunch today on a motorbike with 2 friends and ate polenta and braised meat. Excellent food and really friendly staff. Thank you. For the nice meal.

I was here for 5 days and they were amazing. Hotel in the center, excellent cleanliness and excellent food, very generous portions and everyone was really kind and friendly. I highly recommend it and certainly if I have the opportunity to return to Madesimo I will return here. Thanks again for the wonderful holiday.

Very characteristic chalet reminiscent of a high mountain refuge. We spent one night here and had a wonderful dinner. Generous portions and excellent value for money. Spatzle, pizzocheri and venison stew are delicious, the house wine is also excellent. Friendly and very helpful staff. Super recommended place! 👌🏻
