Hotel Certosa di Maggiano In Siena

The facilities were beautiful. We especially enjoyed playing cards in the game room each night with a glass of wine, sitting by the fire enjoying a cocktail before dinner, and laying out and relaxing on the daybeds after a day in Siena. The staff was also AMAZING and extremely attentive, especially Michelle suggested an amazing winery and cheese farm for us to visit out in the countryside. The location is also PERFECT. Super close to Siena, which makes it perfect to head in for a day trip or even for dinner one night. One highlight of our final night was the live jazz music at the hotel, which truly was the perfect finishing touch to an already wonderful stay.

A fantastic hotel in a beautiful location near to Siena. The gardens are lovely with lots of outdoor seating areas. Staff are very helpful and the meals we had in the restaurant and bar were good. The church which is part of the hotel is still used by the local community. Our accommodation included a sitting room, dressing room, bathroom and spacious bedroom. There was interesting art and other artefacts in the public spaces.

Certosa di Maggiano was absolutely amazing! Set in a stunning location in the heart of Tuscany, this property delivers on every level. The service from all the staff is outstanding—warm, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. Everywhere you look, whether from the restaurant, bar, pool, or relaxation areas, the views are breathtaking. The rooms are immaculately appointed, blending comfort and style to create an incredibly relaxing atmosphere. The menus and food deserve special mention as well—delicious, beautifully presented, and perfectly paired with the surroundings. What a joy it was to stay here. Certosa di Maggiano truly offers an unforgettable Tuscan experience.

Amazing hotel and historic building (built in 13th century). It used to be a monastery and was converted into a hotel. It still has an old church that is operating and you can visit. The whole feel is like you’ve been transported to a 1850’s five star hotel. Service is second to none. Highly recommended.

My family spent 5 days at Certosa this summer and it was our most favorite part of our trip to Italy. Every inch of the property is breathtaking. The staff are incredible and we’re so kind to my children ages 5 and 7. We hope to come back again next year!

The overall experience was amazing. Everyone here was very, very nice and helpful. They always consider everything for you. The food at the restaurant was amazing. The wine pairing was extraordinary. The amenity is great and the facility here just classic. I used the pool, the tennis court and the resting area. They prepared the water for my tennis coaching session.The hotel and the service was so extraordinary that the day here was the best memories in my whole travel in Italy. Hope that I would have the chance to come back again!
