Hotel outside the historic center that can be reached in a few minutes by car. Optimal solution. Absolutely quiet. Large room. Cleanliness and great courtesy and availability from all the staff. In particular Dino who always looked after us at breakfast. At the reception we always had punctual and precise tourist information also for moving to other places.

En route to Rasiglia we stopped for a quick lunch at the Albergo Aquila in Caldare. The restaurant is simple and has a family atmosphere, with a classic menu of the Umbrian tradition. Quick and courteous service, perfect for those who are passing through but don't want to give up a hot and tasty meal. Correct price for what is offered. A practical and satisfying stop.

Food was ok, nothing to write home about, but we waited for almost an hour for dishes that should have been pre-made, like minestrone, while people who came in after us were being served their orders. We never saw the menu either, we were just given a verbal list of dishes, although we saw others with menus. A strange experience. Service was friendly enough. Just slow.

Posizione comodissima per chi viaggia in autostrada A1, praticamente davanti al casello di Orte. Atmosfera tranquilla, casalinga. Cucina eccezionale a prezzi eccezionali. Le pappardelle al cinghiale e l'abbacchio a scottadito erano semplicemente favolosi. Ci tornerò sicuramente quando percorrerò lo stesso itinerario in autostrada. Bravi e gentili.
Ristorante "associato" all'Hotel Aquila, posto all'uscita di Orte dell'Autostrada. Gestione famigliare. Ampia varietà di piatti, con cucina tipica casalinga. Servizio attento. Prezzi competitivi. Scontrino si ............ scontrino no ........... (a pranzo si, a cena no)
