Hotel Ambrosiano In Montecatini-terme

They gave us a smartbox, and after much research, we chose the Hotel Ambrosiano, located in the center of Montecatini Terme, on the main street. We have to say it worked out very well, and we're happy with it. The rooms were clean, the staff very kind and helpful. The reception staff were fantastic, and always available. If we really had to criticize them, it would be the breakfast. It was delicious, with fantastic donuts. We would have added something more savory, like some more cold cuts or maybe some hard-boiled eggs, for example. Let's not forget the pool. It was fantastic, the temperature was perfect, and we soaked in it for quite a while. Overall, I'd say it was a truly excellent stay. Thank you. Lino and Linda

Unfortunately, the shower wasn't clean and there was still a lot of hair stuck to the walls, hence only two stars. Otherwise, the room was fine and had everything needed. Dinner was okay.

Everything was great. The rooms were spacious, the breakfast varied and adaptable for people with dietary restrictions such as celiac disease or lactose intolerance, and the staff were friendly. I highly recommend staying at this hotel.

Very clean hotel. Closer to a 3-star hotel in France. Very welcoming reception staff, less so in the restaurant.

We had three fantastic nights. We included breakfast (I don't know if that's normal), which is highly recommended. The service and cleanliness were amazing. We were really surprised by the reviews for this place; it's not fair at all. The hotel and everything was spotless. What's not normal are the guests. Shouting in the hallway at 6:30 in the morning. You have to respect everyone's schedule, and if people want to sleep, you have to let them. No conversations could be heard from room to room (as other reviews say). But our neighbors did leave their cell phone alarms ringing for 20 minutes. Is that the hotel's fault? No. I'm sure everything is much louder in their homes. Conclusion: the hotel is a 10/10, the guests are the ones who need to take a look. WE WILL RETURN!

Vacation with my wife during the week of August 15th.... I can only thank everyone for the excellent hospitality and excellent service. We will be back!!!
