What a beautiful hotel! First, let's talk about the location in Weißenbach. The hotel is situated more or less right at the entrance to the village and is surrounded by beautiful, high mountains. From there, you can embark on some wonderful and challenging hikes, for example, to the Oberer Moosboden or the Chemnitzer Hütte. The rooms are beautifully designed, very clean, and always stocked with fresh (free) water. At breakfast, you're very kindly asked for anything you need and can indulge in the abundant selection at the buffet. Dinner is prepared with so much care and is always plentiful. You can usually choose from one or two appetizers and desserts, and the main courses are generally served in three portions. The staff are so friendly and attentive, and the owner is very dedicated and approachable. All in all, you simply feel comfortable here as a guest and would love to return. We spent three wonderful days at the Berghotel Alpenfrieden in Rio Bianco and couldn't have asked for more. It was a perfect vacation in every way. Andreas's welcome was truly exceptional: he made us feel welcome right away with his professionalism and warmth. The entire team was incredible: kind, attentive to our every need, and always smiling. The hotel is ideally located for those seeking true relaxation. Rio Bianco is an authentic village where a unique peace reigns and there are very few people, making it a true paradise for unwinding. We loved the annex: the pool and sauna are wonderful, and our little girl had a blast, making her stay special too. The cuisine is excellent, with carefully prepared and tasty dishes, and the cleanliness is unbeatable throughout the property. All this at an excellent value. In short: an experience with top marks. We stayed for the December 8th long weekend: a magical place immersed in silence and snow. The hotel has everything you need: even the kitchen is very careful about waste, and the food is truly high-quality, like a 4-star hotel or better! The staff is its strong point: extremely kind and courteous, even when they made small mistakes! Electric car charging available. The price is truly competitive in the area! We'll be back. There's no bidet, shower gel, or shampoo in the room, but I found them in the hallway. :)

I recently had the pleasure of spending 14 days at this beautiful hotel. The atmosphere is friendly and informal; you immediately feel at home and included. The food is sensationally good; special requests and seconds are welcome, although not necessary, as everything is perfect. The rooms are beautiful and very clean. The view and location are indescribably beautiful. The cleaning and service staff are very friendly, funny, and forthcoming. I've never vacationed anywhere twice before, but this time I'm considering coming back. If that isn't a good sign, I'll be happy to hear it. Thank you so much for everything.

A very nice hotel with a friendly host family. Breakfast and dinner are excellent; we were able to reserve meals for the next day each evening. You can start several mountain hikes directly from the hotel or reach cozy alpine huts. The bus stops almost right outside and is free with a guest card, so you can reach virtually the entire valley. The rooms are modern and clean. I highly recommend the hotel.

A family-run hotel with friendly and helpful staff, it's located in a quiet valley surrounded by greenery and offers numerous trails for all levels. We were traveling with a three-year-old and a newborn, and I must say there's plenty to do in the area. In the annex where we stayed, there are two small pools where you can relax with the kids, and a small outdoor hot tub. The cuisine is traditional and very good, and the rooms are very large and clean. The facilities are also well-equipped for children, with a well-stocked play area in the area where we slept. We had a great time and will definitely return.
