Hotel Adria In Bari

The hotel is very conveniently located close to Bari Centrale station and it's generally close to Bari Murat and 2-3 bus stops from Bari Vecchia. The building is quite old, nonetheless it's well-kept and renovated. The breakfasts were very non-Mezzogiorno style i.e. quite vast and with a wide selection of savoury and sweet foods. The room was renovated and had most of the useful amenities (even a kettle). The staff was very nice and helpful, they all deserve a raise. Despite proximity to railways the noise is not really heard. Lo consiglio con tutto il cuore! The minor drawback was the AC that had no switch to turn off, it was only turning off when opening the window for a bit longer. I understand it may be necessary for summer, but in early spring it could be mostly used for heating up a bit only and does not need to run at all times. The lift was also relatively slow, though it was not new.

The hotel is very centrally located; there are vending machines right next to the hotel on the bottom left. A Spar branch is about 400 meters away, towards the train station. The hotel's breakfast isn't exactly surprising in terms of variety; very little choice, and there's no egg for breakfast. Unfortunately, cheese and sausage aren't suitable for Muslims or vegetarians; some of the cheese is stacked on top of each other. The room is really small, the air conditioning is a challenge, and the bed is old. But it's very clean; it's cleaned daily, which is OK for the price, including breakfast!

Room cleaned every day, towels changed, location close to the train station and the main promenade. I recommend. 😌

An excellent hotel. Tidy room, equipped with a kettle for tea and herbal teas. Super positive note the breakfast was beautiful, varied and very very good, compliments for this point. Kind and reliable staff! We will return

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The location was absolutely perfect for me it’s close to the train station and within walking distance (around 15 minutes) to the old city and the restaurants I wanted to visit. Despite being so central, the hotel is situated on a side street, so there’s hardly any urban noise.The breakfast was good for me. As soon as I walked into the breakfast room, an employee greeted me and asked if I’d like a coffee and what kind. By the time I grabbed some breakfast from the buffet and sat down, my coffee was brought to my table. The receptionist was friendly, professional, and helpful. They spoke English well and gave me excellent recommendations for local restaurants to try the regional cuisine. They also explained which sights offered guided tours and when they were available, which made planning my days easier. The room I stayed in was better than I expected. It was clean, comfortable, and had everything I needed. The daily cleaning service was spot on.
