A small trattoria in the historic center of Albenga serving traditional Ligurian dishes. Authentic, well-prepared dishes, friendly, and very fast service. Really good value! A must-try!

We went here for a family dinner, drawn by the excellent reviews. I highly recommend it; the food is traditional, delicious, and the prices are more than fair. The waiter was truly friendly and kind. I recommend making a reservation. I hope to return.

This tavern has remained the same over the years, with the same menu and the same way of presenting the dishes—a sure thing. Homemade food. 2 rooms, seating about thirty. Reservations are a must. Highly recommended.

I'm pleased to review this typical Ligurian trattoria, where my wife and I have been a few times. Excellent food, homemade pasta, very fair prices, and as the name suggests, a no-frills, no-frills place that focuses on the essentials. They say Ligurians aren't hospitable: that's not true!! When you go to someone else's home, knock before entering and you'll see you'll be welcomed without hesitation. We'll be back because it's become a regular stop. Good luck, and thank you again for your cooking.

22/02/2026: We arrived near closing time and were still served and welcomed by the owner with kindness and friendliness, a great entertainer. Simple, traditional recipes, well-executed with excellent quality products. From appetizer to dessert, everything was very enjoyable and satisfying. Overall, a great experience.

21/01/2026: Welcoming and proactive manager. The waiters (especially the young dark-haired one and the other young one; they are kind and do their best to accommodate requests). The food is always excellent, as is the pizza from the excellent pizza chef!
