Sat outside, at the top of the stairs, overlooking the busy, main street below. Decorated with fairy lights amongst the trees, people often stopped to take a photo of the restaurant. Service was impeccable. We enjoyed chats with the owners and staff and the food…the food was delectable! Local ingredients, fresh, tasty, bellisimo! Worth every cent! (We made a reservation)

We had a pizza, glass of wine and deserts and we were thoroughly impressed and the pizza was amazing. Much better than any pizza I’ve had in the USA. The service was excellent.

Great location, right next to Palazzo Ciampoli, allows you to eat at the top of the stairs and enjoy a beautiful view of one of the main streets of Taormina. The pizzas are really great, light dough and just the right amount of crunchy. Friendly staff. Thank you 🔝

Wonderful experience, Great location. We had dinner at this lovely pizzeria, I strongly recommend a table outside looking on the main road of Taormina ( do book in advance to avoid waiting time ) The pizza was awesome and the service was great 👍 they also have a great selection of pasta, fish and meat dishes. Something for everyone.

Wow... we spent three days in Rome, five days in Puglia and the last seven days in Taormina And this was by far the best Experience. Up the beautiful white steps just above Corso Umberto we were lucky enough to check it out, and the food was incredible. The service was outstanding… I hope you get the chance to try it. 24/09/2025: Looking for fresh, good fish, sourced locally with an Italian flair? Then you've come to the right place! Delicious food, a daily changing menu, and chilled wine. We dined here as a group of seven and received a warm welcome. Despite the language barrier, we were able to order everything ☀️
21/09/2025: Highly recommended for people who want to eat very well. It seems to be a family-run business, relatively well hidden in an industrial park. It initially seemed a bit deserted, as we were the only guests when we arrived on a Saturday evening. But this soon changed. We received a very friendly welcome and each ordered a platter of various grilled fish. Since we had also eaten fish dishes the day before at another restaurant (two places away, much more expensive), we now had a direct comparison. Result: The food tasted significantly better, with much more fish on the plate! When we got the bill, we were immediately delighted again. We felt the total price of €50 for two such substantial fish platters, one wine, and one beer was absolutely justified and fair. Especially since there was no extra charge for setting the table. (The day before, we had to pay €2.50 per person for a napkin and cutlery on the table.) The ambiance is neat and clean, and we were served royally in English and Italian, using appropriate hand signals. Many thanks to the owners!!! It was great!

12/09/2025: The best advertisement for this place is the reviews. It's a well-known fact that it's still a gas station bar and tobacconist, but the quality of the food and the helpfulness of the staff make all the difference. It's worth deviating from your itinerary and, why not, visiting on purpose.
10/09/2025: Incredible find! Don’t like the outside appearance of a gas station fool you. Best food we’ve had in Italy and Sicily!
