Everything was excellent.. the place is very nice, we stopped on the way back from a trip..

A place made of characters! The owner is a dear friend every time even if you meet him for the first time. Primordial food. Medieval succulence is a satisfying and longing desire that you can satisfy sitting at a table in this old tavern. The unbeatable kebabs, the best I've ever tasted.

We stumbled upon it by chance, and we promised ourselves we would return. Cozy place, exquisite food, among the appetizers we chose tripe, first course, cheese and eggs, an excellent rabbit for second course and traditional desserts.... the music play list was also excellent.... super recommended place

Facendo tappa ad Ortona nel lungo viaggio verso la Puglia, ceniamo in questo piccolo ma caratteristico ristorante. Appena arrivati abbiamo subito apprezzato il sottofondo musicale con le canzoni dei cantautori italiani dei nostri tempi. Il menù offre piatti tipici locali che il gestore ci ha sapientemente illustrato. Abbiamo cenato veramente bene. Unico suggerimento: amplierei il menù dei dolci con qualche dolce al cucchiaio. Buono anche il vino della casa.

Very welcoming little place in the heart of Ortona. I went with a great desire for Arrosticini which was totally satisfied. Very courteous staff. Highly recommended!

Il cibo merita un 5 pieno. Veramente tutto buonissimo, anzi ottimo. La stella mancante è perché non puoi finire antipasto, primo e secondo in 22 minuti, chiedere una pausa di 10 minuti per il dolce e questo ti arriva dopo 5. C'erano tavoli non apparecchiati, quindi non credo volessero mandarci via, ma non credo abbiamo mai mangiato in 45 minuti. Vicino alla cassa bottiglie di liquore che non vengono pulite da mesi, piene di polvere, inoltre il proprietario dovrebbe spendere due soldini per mettere dell'aspirazione come si deve, arrivati in b&b abbiamo dovuto mettere i vestiti che indossavamo sul balcone, e meno male che l'avevamo, tanto erano impregnati dalla puzza di fritto. Inoltre, in cucina, a parte una signora, nessuno portava una cuffia per capelli. Alla fine 5 per il cibo ma, dovessimo ripassare per Ortona, non torneremo, per gli altri fattori.

Good restaurant with typical food. I would stay here again. The vegetables should be reviewed and the classic roasted potatoes should be included. For the rest everything is ok. I recommend it to anyone on holiday.
