We had a farmer's appetizer for two and for the quantity and quality of the food it was already enough to close the dinner. I ordered the wild boar with buglione with sautéed chicory and my husband pici with garlic, finishing with an Etruscan bitter and a nocino. Kindness, courtesy and genuineness washed down with Morellino di Scansano at a modest price. Very satisfied.

Seguendo le recensioni lette, prenotiamo, per fortuna appena in tempo, visti i pochi tavoli disponibili !! Accoglienza familiare (la proprietaria mi ha scritto su WhatsApp per sapere se avevmo difficoltà a trovare il locale, visto il ritardo sull'orario di prenotazione, ma eravamo a spasso per Pitigliano..). Primi e secondi abbondanti e superlativi tanto da non lasciare spazio per i dolci ... Voto 10eLode. Prezzo adeguato alla qualità!!

Following the reviews read, we booked, fortunately just in time, given the few tables available!! Family welcome (the owner wrote to me on WhatsApp to find out if we had difficulty finding the place, given the delay in the booking time, but we were walking around Pitigliano...). First and second courses are abundant and superlative, so much so that there is no room for desserts... 10eLaude. Price appropriate to the quality!!

Tornati all Hosteria Pantalla dopo circa 6 anni....questa volta per pranzo... abbiamo iniziato con un tagliere x 2 persone con salumi e formaggi del posto e con dei crostoni misti il tutto molto buono, siamo passati ad un piatto di ravioli fatti in casa con ragù maremmano, un piatto di Pici all aglione e una tagliata di manzo con cicoria ripassata in padella.. poi 2 porzioni di tiramisù che è sempre ottimo.....x finire un vin santo con biscotti.....

The place is welcoming... it's a tavern where time has stopped! The staff is very kind and empathetic. The dishes offered are of a high standard, for the quality of the raw materials and for the skilful art of the cook, who mainly prepares traditional Maremma dishes with great care. We ate an extraordinary farmer's appetizer (asparagus, green beans and artichokes in vinegar, bruschetta, cold cuts and cheeses with honey and blackberry jam) and the pappardelle with Cinta Senese ragù and those with wild boar ragù, both delicious. The steak with garlic and rosemary did not surprise us. The papalina cake was really very good.
Here too I wasn't able to take photos of the dishes... unfortunately the fork was faster...!!!

There were three of us last night plus a dog. Very welcoming atmosphere, really friendly and friendly staff. Excellent food, very good carbonara, the second courses really special and abundant. Good steak with truffle, superlative shank. Prices more than reasonable. Highly recommended.
