In the photo: Montagnara appetizer, Bruschette, mixed first course and fettuccine with wild boar, eggs with truffles and polenta with mushrooms, sausage and sauce. I recommend eating the appetizers and first courses first, then if you are still full, move on to the second courses. The polenta is very heavy.
The staff is friendly and the place is very nice. It is located a few minutes away from the Montevergine funicular.
You need to book at least a few days in advance to be able to find a place.

One of the historic restaurants/pizzerias for people from Avellino and beyond. A warm and welcoming place, full of memories for those like myself who have always frequented it and have seen dozens and dozens of places open and close in the meantime.
The pizza is excellent and even more so the first courses with porcini mushrooms or truffles.

A great super top service.
Qualified staff for any information on the courses..... I highly recommend going to eat pizza in the evening at the Hosteria del Tritone in Avellino, specifically in Ospedaletto, not to mention the food enjoyed for Sunday lunch served with such delicacy.. ..... Traditional restaurant! Welcoming host! Simple but quality dishes! Good triton fusilli with ricotta, mushrooms and an excellent ragù! Tasty cheeses! Typical location! The square where the tavern is located is beautiful!
