The best dinner we had in Italy, period! Steak is a must.. Carbonara is the best! This restaurant is a little bit tucked away, but give it a try. It was very reasonably priced and no frill. You will love it!!!

A very pleasant and delicious evening. An intimate and relaxing atmosphere. I go out for dinner to relax, chat, and eat well. My wife is a vegetarian. We had let them know, and they had prepared a special version of their appetizers. Everything exceeded my expectations in this decidedly pleasant Genzano setting.

A restaurant with an intimate and welcoming atmosphere, it's not one of those elegant and formal places; on the contrary, it's very genuine, authentic, and feels like home. There's very little seating, 4-5 tables, seating for just under 20. In this intimate and relaxing setting, two young people work with love and passion, making you feel pampered and part of the family. They take an interest and offer genuine smiles. The cuisine is home-style, but not banal; the flavors are interesting and unexpected. The menu is short and offers both classic and more unusual dishes. The chicken cacciatore is spectacular. The delightful, gourmet music in the background provided the perfect backdrop. This gem, just steps from the Church of Santa Maria della Cima, is definitely worth a visit. This was our second visit to this restaurant in Genzano with a couple of friends. The restaurant has limited seating, so it's best to book in advance. It's run entirely by a couple, one in the kitchen and the other serving. Don't expect a huge menu, with a house appetizer featuring dishes that change every day, three or four first courses, three or four second courses, a dish of the day, desserts, and wines. But that's not a flaw, on the contrary! All the dishes are top-quality! A few dishes with character are better than a vast, anonymous selection. The dishes combine tradition with some more modern combinations, all expertly managed by the chef. A place where the flavors and atmosphere make you feel at home. We chatted with the two owners at the end of the evening, and they're both friendly, kind, and passionate about their work. I wish them all the best. If you hadn't already figured it out, I highly recommend it!

The place is quiet, the venue is very nice. The prices are really excessive for Genzano (12 for a carbonara). Overall, everything is good.
