The best dinner we had in Italy, period! Steak is a must.. Carbonara is the best! This restaurant is a little bit tucked away, but give it a try. It was very reasonably priced and no frill. You will love it!!!

A very pleasant and tasty evening. An intimate and relaxing environment. I go out to dinner to relax, chat, eat well. My wife is a vegetarian. We had warned them and they had prepared a version of their appetizers specifically. Here it was all above my expectations in the decidedly pleasant context of Genzano.

Restaurant with an intimate and welcoming atmosphere, it is not one of those elegant and set places, on the contrary it is very real, authentic, it feels like being at home. There are very few seats, 4-5 tables, around twenty seats. In this intimate and relaxing context there are two guys who work with love and passion and make you feel pampered and at home, they take an interest, they smile at you genuinely. The cuisine is home-style but not banal, the flavors are interesting and not obvious. The menu is short and with both classic and more particular proposals. Spectacular chicken Cacciatore. A very pleasant music for connoisseurs in the background was the setting for everything. This gem a few steps from the church of Santa Maria della Cima is absolutely worth a visit. This was our second visit to this restaurant in Genzano with a couple of friends. The restaurant has limited seating, so it's best to book in advance. It's run entirely by a couple, one in the kitchen and the other serving. Don't expect a huge menu, with a house appetizer featuring dishes that change every day, three or four first courses, three or four second courses, a dish of the day, desserts, and wines. But that's not a flaw, on the contrary! All the dishes are top-quality! A few dishes with character are better than a vast, anonymous selection. The dishes combine tradition with some more modern combinations, all expertly managed by the chef. A place where the flavors and atmosphere make you feel at home. We chatted with the two owners at the end of the evening, and they're both friendly, kind, and passionate about their work. I wish them all the best. If you hadn't already figured it out, I highly recommend it!

The place is quiet, the venue is very nice. The prices are really excessive for Genzano (12 for a carbonara). Overall, everything is good.
