A truly unique place, with a relaxed atmosphere and impeccable service (tasteful tablecloths, plates, and cutlery, and a well-decorated space). The staff is friendly and welcoming, from the owner to Sergio and the very witty Ahmed. The food is truly traditional; there's no room for out-of-season vegetables; everything is incredibly fresh and cooked to perfection. Excellent value for money. Truly an oasis among the city's myriad tourist traps.

The food was good, the setting was typical, and the service was decent. However, while Italian generosity usually fills us up in a primi piati, the portions here were very small, and we had to order several to be satisfied. The bill inevitably mounts up... a shame.

Authentic Puglia food done right and how tasty it is! Amongst the best pasta I’ve ever had - I wish I was in Lecce longer so we could have also done the cooking classes.

Rustic atmosphere typical of home-style taverns. We start with stale, low-quality bread. The appetizer is meatballs in tomato sauce, made like a grandmother would make on Sundays. Orecchiette with eggplant and cacioricotta is well-made and flavorful. The broad beans and chicory are bland, tasteless, and lack character. The final price is reasonable.

Nice and charming place with friendly service and delicious food. It is family owned and now the son has taken over the kitchen from his mother. She was part of a case study for typical Italien dishes for the UNESCO.

We went for dinner. The food was good and the atmosphere was welcoming. The staff was a bit cold and aloof, which didn't make you feel comfortable. I don't think I'll go back.

19/09/2025: We stopped here for dinner and it was an excellent choice. The grill was impeccable, well-cooked and flavorful, and the appetizers, especially the potatoes, were really good too. We were very satisfied: this place is definitely worth a visit.

27/08/2025: We tried the steakhouse restaurant during a stay in Salento. We focused on the meat dishes, and I must say, everything was excellent. The quality of the ingredients is tangible. Price-wise, it's average. Recommended.
