A great hostaria, very popular during aperitif and dinner hours. The space has several outdoor seating areas, where people pick up their dishes and drinks at the counter and then stand outside, making it very informal. The main dining room has tables, which, by the way, require reservations; a point of improvement is the kitchen's exhaust system, as the smell of food wafts through. We were warmly welcomed by the waitress, who seated us at a table even without a reservation. The service was very friendly and efficient. The menu offers the best cicchetteria, with excellent seafood options. There could be more vegetarian and vegan options. Excellent wines by the glass or bottle. Good value. Well worth a visit.

After 20 minutes of wandering, they stopped in front of Hostaria Vite Rossa and said, “This is the one!” I followed and what a surprise! A cozy fish tavern with fresh seafood on display and a warm, welcoming vibe. 🐟 The seafood counter A visual feast, showcasing the day’s catch like jewels on ice. This is the best pasta restaurant in my life. I tried to order grilled seafood, but they gave me sashimi. The sashimi was perfect, and the Botega vongole was the best pasta I've ever had in my life.

We didn't make a reservation for Sunday lunch time but it soon became full of people inside and out. English menu is available but it's not a tourist trap. Two people shared a fresh seafood mix platter and mixed cicchetti platter. The seafood platter was preferred. It was very fresh and a good variety.

We happened upon it by chance on our way back from a flight from Venice airport, and stopped for an aperitif and lunch. The fish and wine were superb. The owners were welcoming and knowledgeable about their wines. The food was truly delicious. I wish I had a place like this closer to home because I could go there often. Well done!

Osteria molto particolare, menù di una grande lavagna, oggetti caratteristici e antichi arredano il locale, forse un po’ troppi. Cicchetti di pesce, un piatto che permette di assaporare molte specialità, il piatto è davvero abbondante suggerisco di condividerlo con un altro commensale se poi avete in programma di assaggiare un altro piatto. Noi abbiamo ordinato i 3 baccalà, buonissimi!!! Personale attento e cordiale, prezzo corretto.

Piatti di pesce buoni serviti dopo un'attesa un po' lunga ma comunque sopportabile. Atmosfera tipica delle osterie perfetta per un pranzo informale.
