We really enjoyed Il Vecio Biavarol during this Venetian holiday. The owners were very kind and helpful! The place is small, with a nice terrace overlooking the canal. We appreciated the small size of the place, because we were well looked after in the selection of wines and cicchetti. I'm not a fan of natural wines, but they still let me taste their proposals so I could choose better! The cicchetti are delicious and prepared at the moment! The slice of hot polenta with creamed cod is also delicious! Recommended place

Such a gem. It is a small osteria with a rustic, local interior and a few tables outside on a small canal. They have unique local drinks (wine, beer, special negroni) and a few dishes to select from that are made on the spot and super fresh. We had Nduja pasta and a veggie pasta. They were both delicious. Very close to the train station. If you look for a nice local experience to take a break from the business of the train station, this is definitely the place to go!

I was able to taste some excellent wines, a careful choice of labels with non-trivial wines. I must say the cicchetti were excellent, with really interesting combinations. The host is hospitable and really nice.

5 stelle ai 2 osti per accoglienza e qualità dei prodotti. Scoperto qualche anno fa, ormai quando ci troviamo a Venezia non possiamo fare a meno di tornarci ed ogni volta ad attenderci c'è sempre la stessa ospitalità! Cicchetti con abbinamenti ricercati e gustosi, molto apprezzata da parte nostra la loro scelta di differenziarsi nel beverage dalle proposte commerciali sia alcoliche che analcoliche. In un ambiente piccolo e curato, ma proprio per questo assolutamente unico e da non perdere, troverete la vera Venezia!

08/04/2025: Utflyckt från Chioggia till vackra Pellestrina. Efter att ha vandrat runt inbjöd restaurangens läge till ett lunchbesök. Servering på veranda ut mot havet, fantastisk utsikt, vindskyddat. Välkomnande bemötande. Valde gnocci med räkor a 20 E, tyvärr besviken på maten. Liten portion, minimalt med räkor, smaklös sås och odefinierbara gnocci. Vinet höll bra standard. Tyvärr väntade jag mig mer av denna plats som är berömd för sina skaldjur. Rek. annat val av restaurang eller åtminstone annan rätt ur menyn.
