Pranzo con i colleghi in questa trattoria arredata con “murales “ simpatici.
Menu abbastanza vario della tradizione e piatti discreti.
Personale gentile.

We went to Nonna Nella for lunch and overall the experience was positive. The appetizers were really tasty and well presented, while among the first courses a good carbonara stood out, tasty and well creamed. The gricia, on the other hand, seemed a bit disconnected.
Among the second courses, the steak was abundant but slightly fibrous and too fatty; the chicken cut, on the other hand, was a bit tasteless. The desserts were packaged, so nothing memorable, but still pleasant to end the meal.
The environment is simple but welcoming, even if a bit noisy at peak times. The staff was very kind and friendly, putting us at ease immediately.
The wine list is good from all over Italy, starting at €12.
Unbeatable price thanks to the 50% discount with The Fork: an excellent quality-price ratio. Recommended for an informal and unpretentious lunch in the heart of Rome.

Booked with the fork, 2 first courses, 2 second courses, side dish and water: €40.
The carbonara is probably the best I've ever eaten in Rome, even the pasta der prisoner was good.
It is close to the Lungotevere and Ponte Garibaldi, close to the nightlife but not too much.
Quiet place from where you can reach the most "lit" areas of Rome
Highly recommended.

The house platter is delicious with frittini, omelette, pizzas, bruschetta, raw..., succulent scallops with porcini mushrooms, good chicory and well cooked and seasoned pizzas (margherita, mushrooms and bresaola). Friendly and courteous service from all staff. Average prices but higher on the receipt than on the menu and small error on the bill.
I returned to this restaurant for the third time for a Tuesday dinner with 5 friends. I hadn't specified whether we wanted to stay inside or not and there was only room outside where, luckily, we ended up near the only mushroom as we didn't suffer from the cool weather that evening. We were served by the only waitress of the evening, Laura, who, despite being very nice, did not bring the dishes punctually and precisely. We had ordered simple bruschetta (€2), tomato bruschetta (€3), supplì (€2) and a cod fillet (€4) and half of the starters never arrived. Having reported the problem, the tomato bruschetta was cancelled, the rest arrived after the pizzas without praise or infamy. All the pizzas ordered (Capricciosa €8, Porcini €8, Tirolese €8 – with speck and provola -, Ciccio Buffo €9 – with sausage and potatoes and the bresaola, rocket and parmesan focaccia €10) were fine, crunchy, well seasoned and cooked, compliments to the pizza chef. We dined with fresh bottled Peroni beers €5 and water €2. We ended the meal with grappa €5, amaro €4 and ricotta and chocolate cake €6 which didn't satisfy us much. The guy at the checkout was very kind, although he made us pay the cover charge for the 6 I had booked for and not for the 5 of us who we actually were. Average prices. Nice place that I recommend, well connected by public transport and on a stretch of Viale Trastevere where it won't be difficult to park.
Two times out of two dinner ok! Delicious grilled chicken! Excellent Gricia, discreet amatriciana, Antipasto Nonna Nella, the second one super. The first pizza and supplì ok! I have always found kindness and hospitality in this spacious restaurant with beautiful bas-relief walls that represent life in Trastevere. At the entrance, a beautiful wood-fired oven with a very good pizza chef who made us enjoy a simple focaccia and some - perfectly cooked and well seasoned - Roman pizzas (capricciosa, seasoned focaccia, onion and anchovies). The supplì on the phone are large and stringy, the cod fillet is crunchy and golden - but a little small - to be accompanied with the herb mayonnaise. Delight of delights, the pistachio tiramisu with chocolate decoration (a heart, the writing happy..) nice on the plate. Fresh beers on tap. Distancing is respected at the tables outside. Good value for money.

We were a group, we enjoyed good service and better dinner. All good, varied, I loved the Nonna Nella pizza (in particular). Delicious desserts… the coffee machine was broken that day 😱 😉
