Unfortunately, the food was below average, and the prices and atmosphere were comparable to those at more expensive restaurants. Communication with the staff was quite problematic.

If you want to truly feel like a tourist in Rome and relive old clichés, order a mixed salad here. For €7, you'll get a few lettuce leaves and tomato pieces that look like the edible bits of a not-quite-healthy tomato. Of course, you have to dress the salad yourself, but then you also have to ask for vinegar, oil, salt, and pepper. The bill included an item we didn't even receive, which was promptly removed after we complained. We were here a few years ago and were satisfied then. These days, they seem to only take tourists; their preferred guests probably work in the nearby Palace of Justice. What a pity...

Perfect. Wonderfully tasty food, service was excellent and a rare old world charm that you don’t get very often these days. Felt authentic and was very enjoyable experience. No rush and lovely pace to service. Will be back.

10/09/2025: Everything was delicious! The owner was a genius. They were closing and they served us just the same: porchetta, polpette, involtini, tagliere, all homemade and spectacular! Highly recommended!
08/09/2025: High quality and low prices! The staff is always helpful, clean, and friendly. Definitely the best fraschetta in Frascati! It also has outdoor seating.

30/09/2025: We just walked by looking for dinner. It was excellent. Best meal so far after 3 days in Rome. Not only was food great but the atmosphere made us feel like locals.
25/09/2025: This small restaurant, located not far from St. Peter’s Basilica, is a great spot for lunch or dinner at very reasonable prices, with generous portions. I particularly recommend the carbonara and the pasta al pesto. Since the place is quite small and often busy, it’s best to book in advance. Service can be a little slow due to the high demand, but the atmosphere is warm and pleasant.
