I tried the pizza at this neighborhood eatery. I've loved eating at the tables that overflow onto the sidewalks since I was a child; I love the idea of eating in the heart of street life. Perhaps they've gone a little too far here, though; sometimes people who park open their doors right next to chairs and tables, risking physically sticking their noses into their food. Otherwise, the pizza is truly excellent, well-cooked, and the dough is very easy to digest. Congratulations!

Dinner with colleagues. The restaurant is a local institution. We all had pizza and beer, except for one who had seafood pasta. The food is simple, like the restaurants of old. Not hair-pulling, but comfortable in its simplicity. The pizza went down well, so it had sufficient leavening. Perhaps for a pizza, I'd choose something different. As for the entrees, I can't say because I haven't tried it. The tiramisu was decent. I give everything a three. The service was also adequate. Maybe because Rome has so much to offer.

We arrive on a Saturday evening, and the place is almost full. They move us to a table near the large French windows. They tell us that unfortunately we'll have to wait, as it's very crowded. In reality, in less than an hour, we eat fried food and an excellent pizza.

Sono sicura che in cucina ci sia un cuoco e non uno chef. Uno che sa il fatto suo, che ti cucina bene un pesce freschissimo, una paranza viva, certi gnocchi fatti in casa, con funghi, che ti si sciolgono in bocca. Insomma uno che cucina roba buona . Prezzo onestissimo, servizio veloce, osteria di quartiere come una volta, quando c'erano i cuochi, nelle cucine. Non gli chef nelle brigate....
