Excellent family-run trattoria with friendly, attentive, and fast service. The clam pasta was excellent; we were out in half an hour (we'd requested it, as we were running late). Despite the rush, we noticed many tables with guests busy wolfing down large platters of fish soup, mixed roasts, and other inviting-looking dishes. We'll be back sooner to enjoy a full meal!

This place was discovered almost by accident, as it was within walking distance from my house. We went on a Saturday night for a simple pizza, but the real surprise was discovering that it's also, and above all, a restaurant specializing in fish. So: for an appetizer, mixed fried calamari and anchovies: a very light and very inviting fry. Then an excellent spaghetti with clams, which was truly amazing: perfectly cooked, with a very balanced seasoning and spiciness. Highly recommended. Wine: Satrico dei Casali del Giglio. Then a sea bass with sautéed chicory Roman-style. For dessert, "Delizia al Limone" and a sweet cherry-filled dessert, provided by an old pastry shop in Salerno. The price was reasonable for a fish-based dinner. For pizza, we'll definitely be back for another evening at Baffo.

I tried the pizza at this neighborhood eatery. I've loved eating at the tables that overflow onto the sidewalks since I was a child; I love the idea of eating in the heart of street life. Perhaps they've gone a little too far here, though; sometimes people who park open their doors right next to chairs and tables, risking physically sticking their noses into their food. Otherwise, the pizza is truly excellent, well-cooked, and the dough is very easy to digest. Congratulations!

Dinner with colleagues. The restaurant is a local institution. We all had pizza and beer, except for one who had seafood pasta. The food is simple, like the restaurants of old. Not hair-pulling, but comfortable in its simplicity. The pizza went down well, so it had sufficient leavening. Perhaps for a pizza, I'd choose something different. As for the entrees, I can't say because I haven't tried it. The tiramisu was decent. I give everything a three. The service was also adequate. Maybe because Rome has so much to offer.
