A welcoming atmosphere with both indoor and outdoor spaces, hospitable staff, and attentive service make this a guaranteed place in the northern Rome area for enjoying first courses and grilled meats. They also offer a set menu. Recommendation.

Had lunch here yesterday for an anniversary. The menu was simple; we didn't choose the tasting menu because we couldn't have done it with the first course. The Danish Florentine steak and the side dishes, especially the chicory, were excellent. The focaccia was also very good, even though the menu lists it as frozen. The parmigiana pie portion was extremely small. My only complaint: when you pay for meat by weight, especially Florentine steak, it's customary to show the customer the weight before cooking and weigh it in front of them to show the actual weight. This wasn't done. The service was friendly. The wine by the glass was also affordable (€3). Definitely worth returning for excellent grilled meat. The service was a bit slow; we had to ask for coffee twice.

An excellent steakhouse in the Olgiata/La Storta area. A few years ago, it moved from its historic location to a more internal location, abandoning its fish and pizza offerings and focusing exclusively on meat. The staff is incredibly friendly, starting with the owners, who oversee every aspect of the restaurant. Valerio's mother runs the kitchen like a general; Valerio, his sister, and his wife take care of the dining room, aided by the longtime waitress. Valerio's son tends the grill when his father is busy, demonstrating his deep understanding of his father's expertise. The meat is spectacular, and the wine selection is among the finest in Italy, yet the markup is always minimal. The exquisite mixed antipasti would be enough to conclude the meal, but in a place sacred to gourmets, you can't miss trying one of the first courses (recommended are the traditional Roman ones, including the famous ravioli all'Alberto) and then the meat served with potatoes and placed on a platter resting on a container with burning embers, so everyone can choose whether to continue cooking it or eat it as a main course.

Roman trattoria on the outskirts of town with a good selection of meats. I appreciated the menu selection, which allows for a great dinner with friends at a very reasonable price. The meat was excellent, and the pici alla amatriciana was delicious. The mixed antipasti were good and just the right amount to keep you hungry for the hearty dishes to come. We'll be back.

You eat very well, excellent first and second courses, both meat and fish...it's a place that immediately makes you feel at ease...I recommend it to everyone

Unfortunately, one of the steaks was spoiled. I went to this restaurant with my children. The place is nice, the decor is beautiful, and the selection of meats is quite varied. The only downside is one of the steaks, the Bavarian one. Evidently, the bacterial load must be a little higher than allowed, perhaps an oversight, but one of my children was sick all night and all the next day.

We ordered the Florentine steak and it was a real experience: perfectly cooked, very tender meat, juicy and full of flavor. Served on a spectacular platter with crispy potatoes, homemade chips and fresh arugula. The quality is very high, the portions generous, and the staff really friendly. A paradise for carnivores and a must for those who want to eat well without compromise.
