The 80s style Roman inn ranking, a nice, cosy place where you eat really well with fair prices, obviously don't expect super abundant dishes like once upon a time but on the other hand the costs are no longer the same but with hunger you don't leave WORTH IT

A pleasant surprise! Small but cozy restaurant! The waitress was very kind! We ordered... Pumpkin and cod fritters appetizer! What are you doing? Are you going to miss out?...😅 And mussels with pepper!... Mmmmmm! 🤤 What the hell am I telling you!... Super food!... Thanks for everything!

If you are looking for authentic Roman cuisine this is the place for you. Excellent dishes, generous portions and Mrs. Luisa at the service are a fantastic recipe. Reservations are absolutely recommended.

If you are looking for authentic Roman cuisine without frills, you are in the right place! I am sorry I did not take pictures, but I was too hungry!! The atmosphere is simple and informal, made warm by Mrs. Luisa in the dining room, of infinite sweetness and helpfulness!! Absolutely popular prices, because for 2 first courses, 2 second courses, 2 side dishes, 2 desserts, 2 water, 1 large beer, 1 coffee and a sambuca we spent €78!! If I am not mistaken, the bill did not include the service charge. Go there but remember to book, because the place is small!

Portato a pranzo da un amico del quartiere. Accolti dalla gentilissima signora ci accomodiamo all'interno e ci spariamo un antipasto con salame, prosciutto, ricotta e due bruschette con la coppa. Poi sua maestà la carbonara: buona e potente. Diversa dalle carbocreme imperanti. Caffè, due acque, 20 euro. A Monte Mario non troppo lontano dalla stazione. E niente odore di cucinato indosso.

Ritiro le perplessità espresse nella recensione precedente e riassegno le cinque stelle. E’ un piacere assistere alla scena di clienti mandati via perché il locale è pieno, in un giorno feriale a pranzo. Successo meritato.

18/11/2025: I had dinner with a friend. It was my first time at this restaurant. We had a wonderful time. The service was impeccable, the dishes were truly delicious, Roman classics like the ones I used to eat at my grandmother's house. For that alone, they deserve top marks! At the end of the evening, after we paid the bill, the owner gave us two lovely slices of Caprese cake because he really wanted us to try it! Really nice! I'll definitely be back.

06/12/2025: Excellent, high-quality food... a beautiful, welcoming place, with friendly, helpful staff. I highly recommend it. The owner, Angelo, and his wife are unbeatable. I recommend the tiramisu, accompanied by excellent grappa.
01/12/2025: I can only give it 5 stars... well-deserved! I'm celiac and stopped by on a Sunday for lunch with friends and family. The owner has personal, as well as professional, experience with my "problem": from the moment I called to inquire and make a reservation, I immediately felt at ease. Not only was I able to enjoy lunch with complete peace of mind, but all the dishes we'd agreed upon over the phone for the entire table were prepared gluten-free! I enjoyed an excellent mixed antipasto accompanied by gluten-free packaged bread, lasagna, and pasta with ragù, as well as roast beef with potatoes. Everything was excellent and cooked according to Roman tradition. They also prepared a truly delicious dessert for me, a mousse-like dessert on a chocolate and puffed rice base. I absolutely recommend booking, so the restaurant owners can guarantee you a unique, safe, and inclusive experience.
