Excellent food, staff available to answer any questions, and a restaurant furnished with a touch of class and beauty that's hard to find elsewhere.... Simone, the chef, is an artist; everything he prepares is a culinary work of art. The waiters are always kind and helpful. If you want to have lunch or dinner at Varesino in Rome, you have to go and then return. When you put so much passion into everything you do, the results are tangible.... This is what I feel every time I go to Varesino.

Visited here after reading the great reviews however the food was not good. I had a tomato and mozzarella supli for starter which was still cold on the inside and very dry with uncooked rice. I ordered Ragu pasta and my husband ordered the Ravioli. Both came in an extremely underwhelming tomato base which tasted like canned tomatoes with no other favoring. Would not recommend.

The carbonara was very good, the lasagna reminded me of the kind I used to eat at a supermarket or in the school cafeteria, in short, the price was high for the quality of the food.

This is a cute we place that makes you feel like you have popped around to a friends place for dinner. Good size portions, good food and very good prices. The person who served us was very polite and attentive. It felt like real Rome not just a restaurant. We went twice.

Very tasty food! Insanely tasty! We went to both expensive and cheap places - everywhere it was mediocre and often tasteless, although we expected a Roman cuisine extravaganza... But Trattoria al varesino saved all our subsequent dinners: really tasty, low prices, pleasant and polite service. If it were possible to give 50 stars for the cuisine, I would give it with confidence. I recommend it, you won't regret it!

Wonderful food!The best place where I’ve been in Rome.Really delicious italian food and quite place away from the noisy streets. 100% recommend!
