This is a cute we place that makes you feel like you have popped around to a friends place for dinner. Good size portions, good food and very good prices. The person who served us was very polite and attentive. It felt like real Rome not just a restaurant. We went twice.

The carbonara was very good, the lasagna reminded me of the kind I used to eat at a supermarket or in the school cafeteria, in short, the price was high for the quality of the food.

Very tasty food! Insanely tasty! We went to both expensive and cheap places - everywhere it was mediocre and often tasteless, although we expected a Roman cuisine extravaganza... But Trattoria al varesino saved all our subsequent dinners: really tasty, low prices, pleasant and polite service. If it were possible to give 50 stars for the cuisine, I would give it with confidence. I recommend it, you won't regret it!

A place where I will definitely return, very good food and made at the moment, so really excellent. Regina the girl who serves at the tables in addition to being very professional is also very nice. The prices are not high either and you pay the right amount for very good things!

I am not quite sure why I am seeing bad reviews on Google. We have had a lovely last meal in Rome at Al varesino. The staff are very friendly. The food is very reasonable and the atmosphere is relaxed and charming. Me and my partner both had a spaghetti pomodoro and it was delicious. The red wine was also very tasty. Thank you very much Mike and Jeanette from the UK 🇬🇧 😀

25/07/2025: I have seen some bad reviews so I want to share my experience. We had a great evening, the staff were very efficient and friendly and spoke Spanish and English. The food is very good quality, although the vegetarian options are a bit limited. The cocktails were great and well served. We went here before a concert at Parco della Música and it was perfect. The athmosphere is lovely, it has a huge outside seating space illuminated by lightbulbs, a pizza truck and a meat grill. The garden is surrounded by palm trees. We had a great dining experience.

05/07/2025: Quiet and very welcoming evening venue, suitable for everyone. There is also a wide selection of board games available to have fun in company.
17/06/2025: In Casalbertone you can't miss a visit to this place that will make you feel at home. Divine hamburgers, super friendly and easy-going staff. Great for those who want to spend an evening in company, perhaps challenging each other to some board games
