If you're looking for a place where time seems to have stood still, making room for conviviality and authentic flavor, this osteria is your ultimate destination. The owner makes everything magical. From the moment we stepped through the door, we were welcomed not as customers, but as friends. His passion is palpable. And then there's the food. To call it "fantastic" would be an understatement. Each dish is a tribute to Sienese tradition with a Roman twist (given the owner's origins), prepared with top-quality ingredients that explode in your mouth. Polenta with wild boar ragù and pici with wild boar ragù were the dishes I ordered. I can only describe them as majestic. If you want to eat divinely and feel part of a family, look no further. I would return to Siena just for this restaurant, even just to chat with the owner and rediscover that feeling of home that never fails to be found here.
