We came here for the vegetarian pasta options and it was a great experience. The panna cotta is to die for. The server was also very helpful.

I liked the atmosphere that locals go to. The service was warm and polite, and above all, each and every dish was delicious! I visited with my family, and I was impressed by the deliciousness of the food, which is understandable for the attention to detail of the place, as they don't serve juice, and the coffee only has their own original coffee! In particular, the tuna carpaccio, the carbonara with wild boar meat, the sliced beef steak with salad and crispy bacon sauce, and the homemade panna cotta were a series of new dishes, but they were all deliciously seasoned! It's a 5-6 minute walk down the slope from Piazzale Michelangelo and the Rose Garden! I highly recommend stopping by after sightseeing☆

Love, love, love this cozy restaurant. We ate there twice during our weeklong stay in Florence. The gnocchi is exquisite, the house wine fabulous and the service is perfect. Highly recommend going there.

Wonderful service, accommodating our group of 8. As a group, we had a hard time deciding which dish was best…considering they were all delicious. We stumbled upon this Hosteria, and hit the lottery. A delicious dinner was had by all!

Siamo stati in questo locale su consiglio del proprietario del nostro appartamento e ci siamo trovati davvero bene. Bel locale, anche se una spolverata non guasterebbe. Servizio ben fatto e molto bravi i due ragazzi in sala. Crostini misti con salse da prendere assolutamente, pici all'aglione favolosi! Prezzi davvero onesti.

Fabuloso restaurante con personal atento y comida excepcional. Compartimos alcachofa con polenta frita, luego tuvimos el conejo relleno y porchetta con papas terminando con una panna cotta compartida, todo fue perfecto. El vino de la casa era muy bueno. Gran lugar.

08/08/2025: We were there last year, but I forgot to leave a review. If we could give it 6 out of 5 stars, we would. It was a wonderful evening, and we even left the restaurant with cantucci biscuits and the recipe from the lady who makes them. Oh...yes, the food is divine.
05/08/2025: The first evening in Val di Chianti; kindness, hospitality and authentic Tuscan food; I highly recommend it.

03/08/2025: A small but excellent bakery just steps from the center of Florence. Excellent variety and quality of both sweet and savory products, and very kind and helpful staff. The price is also excellent: two pieces of schiacciate, a small cake, and two bottles of water are less than €10.
