already went here 2 times, and will definitely go here again. the food are all amazing, the price is good (not overpriced), the staff are all friendly and helpful!

This place was by far the best food we had while in Italy, we ate there twice and would have had dinner there a third time if we would have had more time in Florence. We discovered the Florentine peas, Florentine beans and the Bread salad (panzanella) here, so delicious, I have no idea how they make peas taste so good! Loved the braised beef as a main. Authentic small family run business, great service, atmosphere, and our favorite dinner place. Really hope to return some day:)

We really had a great service and experience at the restaurant. We are not italian but did not feel too much out of place in a local restaurant that was not a pizzeria.

Absolutely the best food experience we had on our Italy trip. The braised beef was quintessentially Tuscan and the exact experience we were looking for. Service was friendly and the atmosphere was Florentine to the T. This cozy little spot is kind of hidden on a back street which I think adds to the allure.

The meat was tender and juicy, with a crispy, flavorful skin. The flavor was intense and delicate at the same time. *Gniochis: A pleasant surprise* The gniochis were a pleasant surprise. These little bites of mashed potatoes and cheese were perfectly cooked and accompanied by a light and tasty sauce. *Crostinis: A perfect appetizer* The crostinis were an excellent appetizer. Amazing place - totally recommend

Abbiamo cenato qui dato che siamo andati a vedere il tramonto a Piazzale Michelangelo e questa osteria si trova molto vicino da lì. Servizio ok, buon cibo nella media.

El restaurante está al otro lado del río, así que es un paseo largo (que puede ser agradable) desde el centro histórico de la ciudad. Muy buen ambiente. Me gustó la sensación y la decoración del restaurante. También aprecié la música jazz suave. La pasta penne con setas, tocino y aceite de trufa estaba muy buena. (Compartía eso como un comienzo.) Y me gustó la carne estofada en salsa de vino. Era tierno y sabroso. Tenía un vaso de la casa blanco - muy bueno. Nuestro camarero era amable y servicial en la descripción de algunas de las entradas. El pan estaba un poco seco. (He notado que aunque Italia tiene una gran pasta - el pan servido en los restaurantes rara vez es "fantástico". Si quieres un gran pan - ir a Francia o Portugal. ) La carne de cerdo en salsa de naranja estaba "bien". Tal vez una mejor opción podría haber sido el Conejo de peluche. (Estaban fuera del cerdo horneado.) No conseguimos ninguno de los aperitivos listados - (solo compartimos la pasta penne) - ni conseguimos los guisantes hablados (que los críticos afirman como muy buenos) - ni conseguimos el postre. (Tendemos a conseguir Gelato después de una comida mientras caminamos de regreso a nuestro hotel). Sólido.
