I had the pleasure of having lunch at the Hostaria degli Anzoi in Montegrotto Terme and I must say that it was a truly pleasant experience. The restaurant has a welcoming atmosphere, with furnishings that recall the taverns of the past, creating a familiar and relaxed environment.
The menu offers traditional Venetian dishes, prepared with fresh, quality ingredients. I tasted the creamed cod, which was creamy and tasty just right, and a dish of bigoli in sauce that brought back the authentic flavors of home cooking. The Amarone risotto is also excellent, perfectly balanced in flavours.
The wine list is well stocked, with an interesting selection of local and national labels. The staff is kind and attentive, ready to recommend the best pairing for each dish. The homemade desserts are also a highlight: the tiramisu was soft and well balanced in flavours.
In general, the Hostaria degli Anzoi is a place that I highly recommend to those looking for authentic cuisine, with excellent value for money and attentive service. Definitely a restaurant to return to!

The prices are of a restaurant not of a hosteria as one would expect from the name and the environment. Nothing to complain about the quality of the food but we had an unpleasant surprise that the price of the wine was much higher than that indicated on the wine list. There are few choices on the menu but the dishes are really good.

Excellent dishes, cooked with care. Simple but very tasty first and second courses. Very particular environment. There is a red 🐱 who sleeps on the floor and is very discreet

Excellent restaurant, excellent cuisine.
We eat things related to the territory and its surroundings.
Polenta is almost liquid, strange for the Milanese, that's how they do it here!
Some evenings there is live jazz music, posters with the proposals are on the tables
Cellar not used as midday meal.
Excellent spritz
Here too, leave the beloved Campari for the Venetian Select!

More shadows than lights, also referring to the environment, the starter was quite good but with indecent prawns in saor, overcooked pasta with a little squid ink sauce, cuttlefish with polenta devoid of any flavour, good homemade desserts while the loose white wine is difficult to drink even with a spritz, for the correctness of the bill I give an extra star.

Ottimo ristorante mon lontano dalla stazioncina di Montegrotto Terme. L'ambiente è molto intimo e suggestivo grazie all'illuminazione, ai numerosi mobili e soprammobili di varie epoche, alle splendide vetrate a quadrotti che allietano il locale, a un vecchio pianoforte e a un bel micione rossiccio che vi farà compagnia durante il pasto. Buono il baccalà alla vicentina, squisita la tagliata di Black angus e il Traminer che ha annaffiato il tutto, per non parlare della torta greca rivisitata, davvero squisita. Servizio perfetto e grande gentilezza del proprietario che ci ha portato in albergo un pacchetto che avevamo scordato sul tavolo.
Più che consigliato.

...molto piacevole ......ti fai mille idee di cosa degustare di nuovo....location molto gradevole ....tanti oggetti in esposizione .. menù particolare , poche scelte ...ho pensato" meglio" ...tutta cucina espressa....mi sbagliavo ...tutto già preparato...da quando? Un giorno due giorni? Ho degustato i crostini con baccalà mantecato davvero ottimi...il pane perfetto....poi leggendo il menù l'acqua non si paga...solo in altro ristorante mi era capitato.....il secondo invece non buono...baccalà con polenta ...stoppaccioso duro e l'ho dovuto finire tutto...purtroppo...perché essendo invitata non potevo far vedere di non aver gradito un piatto.....la scelta dei dolci poca poca...un dolce con mandorle e un tiramisù .... di quello ...penso ...che si possa migliorare...ma cosa ci vuole fare un dolce al volo... mah...
