After eating all around Rome and being very disappointed with all others. This place revived my faith in Italian food. I've looked at the odd reviews, saying this place does not deserve the hype they are very wrong it does and more. Number 1

For us it was one of the worst meals in Rome. We ordered a meat lasagna, and it consisted of layers of pasta with a little meat on top, all quite oily. Another dish was ravioli, which were swimming in sauce. The place had very good reviews, but for us it was disappointing. We should have ordered pizza anyway… The service was fast.

We shared the seafood antipasto, which was both light and tender but also full of flavours better and different to western seafood. My wife had grilled squid which she was surprised at the two large potions and has still not yet stopped raving about how good it tasted. I had the grilled steak again surprised by the large size. The taste was brilliant cooked rare how I like it, but a little tough. We shared a bottle of local wine Montepulciano which was dry and smooth. Excellent excellent meal.

Absolutely incredible food near the Pantheon. Service and staff were wonderful, food was fantastic, serving sizes were generous and the price point was even better than expected, especially considering the generous portions. Would absolutely recommend!

Very delicious food. Considering its location right in the pedestrian zone leading to the sights, the restaurant has reasonable prices and very good quality compared to the surrounding area. We were in Rome in November and ate here twice. It was porcini mushroom season. We had the fettuccine poncini and the risotto poncini with zucchini and bruschetta as starters. Highly recommended.

07/05/2025: Highly customer centric service at this local pizza place. We were explained the options based on our dietary preferences in English. The pizzas were fermented and freshly made. The prices are nominal. Grazie!
