One of the best meals we’ve had not just in Italy, but ever. Risotto with porcini and black truffles is to die for. I’ll be dreaming about this meal for years to come ♥️

QUALITY, COMPETENCE AND FRIENDLINESS...as an aspiring sommelier I had one of the most satisfying experiences during my trip to Calabria...excellent dishes, wide selection of wines, record preparation times...Yes, it's true that here you make a bit of a trip to Piedmont...but the presence of truffles justifies it fully...with a kind and exhaustive accompaniment by the owner in the local territory...a perfect May lunch on this rainy day

oasis of taste in the ancient heart of Rende; I've been "loving" myself with its authentic and succulent dishes since the early 2000s; the new generation of chefs has now moved the bar of "viddrico" to gourmet structures, which do not betray the original identity and do not eat into the wallet: well done, well done everyone!

I believe Mrs. Elisa is the best restaurateur in the city, she carries out her work with passion and professionalism, using raw materials of the highest quality which is why the hosteria de Mendoza is a destination for the people of Cosenza and also for all those who happen to be passing through. One of a kind!

10/05/2025: A memorable day! I hadn't been back to Masseria Capoliscio for a while and as we know, all the things we look forward to with joy create expectations. And I must say that they were fully satisfied. My kids had so much fun and as soon as we got back in the car they immediately started asking when we're going back! Lunch was a delight. Among the various appetizers there were cheeses served with jams produced by them which were an amazing combination. The first courses were also really good and I found the one with peas and dill very delicate which, with that particular scent, gave it an extra touch. For the second courses we went without too many doubts about the lamb because I haven't found one better than theirs yet. The desserts were also made by them and were very good and together with the fruit they were a really beautiful dish to look at. They managed to make a cute little duck out of a banana! Really compliments for the imagination! You are a spectacle! Salvatore, Nicola thank you very much for the usual warm welcome. You are exceptional hosts! See you again as soon as possible!
