Then the food was excellent and the service impeccable. I rate the environment 5 stars but it is very subjective: it depends a lot on what you expect. It is a fascinating place, full of books and furnishings to such an extent that the owner of the house welcomed us with a joking "welcome to the museum". I'm sure some snobs might disagree with my assessment. When in doubt: give it a chance, at worst you will have eaten well in a "strange" place
