The premise is that the service does its best, and we appreciated that. But there were a number of things that really left us perplexed. The first discordant note: the music. A place that presents itself as so refined can't offer background music worthy of a piano bar playlist. The food wasn't bad, but it wasn't satisfying either. The worst thing was the chef's behavior: our table was right next to the kitchen, and we heard a series of curses and profanities directed at the assistant chef, who was clearly a novice. Finally, dessert: fortunately, it was kindly taken off our bill, but bringing the wrong crème caramel because someone forgot to include the sugar is embarrassing. Finally, the bill was quite substantial.

Excellent food, beautiful location. Romantic yet fresh and contemporary. Perfect for many occasions. The staff is extremely kind and attentive.

Great appearance on the first sight, because of stylish location, but: - The lasagne was cold in the middle - the waiters are friendly, but neither of him would ask to refill the wine glasses so we did it ourselves - the food was ok but given the location and pricing, the evening was a disappointment

10/11/2025: What an amazing place. Great food and atmosphere.
04/10/2025: I'll start by saying that this was my first time dining at this historic restaurant, so I have no idea what it was like in its heyday. Personally, I can say I ate well and spent a fair amount. I tried both two first courses (seafood carbonara and spaghetti with fish) and two second courses (tuna steak and mixed fried fish), both generously portioned and well-prepared. Their chocolate dessert was truly delicious. The only downside was the lemon sorbet, which had too much vodka in it and was therefore undrinkable. I'll definitely be back next year.

01/03/2026: A historic restaurant in the city, once a highly regarded landmark. The current management offers Roman cuisine prepared with precision and without compromise. We returned today, after a few years, and the restaurant has not only maintained its quality, but has even improved. We were very satisfied with the quality of the dishes and the friendly, professional service. The first courses, such as carbonara, cacio e pepe, and gricia, are meticulously prepared, using flavorful ingredients and delivering top-notch results. The Roman-style artichokes and puntarelle salad also give you a taste of Rome. They also offer "alternative" meats: kangaroo, zebra, reindeer, and the like. Personally, I prefer to stick to tradition, but in the past I tried a nice cut of bison. The price is reasonable for what's on offer. The space is spacious and the atmosphere is family-friendly, yet quite refined. Well done.
01/03/2026: First time in this restaurant where kindness, courtesy and above all good food are the ABC... I tried the crocodile meat... interesting... next time zebra... spaghetti cacio e pepe super... congratulations...
