I hesitate to review this little gem, because in doing so it becomes better known. My wife and I discovered it in February and vowed to return - the food is amazing and the service second to none. As it’s a bit off the beaten track, there’s little to no one there who hasn’t planned to go. It’s a jewel of a place and we’ll be back!

We were blown away by how great the meal was at Hostaria Bacanera. Every dish was excellent and the service was very attentive. They accommodated our children and gave us all a great experience. Although the prices matched a more upscale meal we feel we got our moneys worth.

24/06/2025: For dinner, I tried the baked salmon and my wife tried the four cheese pizza. The bill was 47 Euros. The bill and the food were both very good. One of the restaurants in Venice Mestre that is not a tourist trap, but preferred by the locals. Try it, you won't regret it.
12/06/2025: Great place to order pizza, the pizza is delicious. The service is very nice and helpful. I highly recommend it!
