We were blown away by how great the meal was at Hostaria Bacanera. Every dish was excellent and the service was very attentive. They accommodated our children and gave us all a great experience. Although the prices matched a more upscale meal we feel we got our moneys worth.

Restaurant recommended by our hotelier. As we went there on the recommendation of the hotel, we were offered a limoncello as a digestive. The meal was excellent. We ate on the terrace, in a small square, very quiet. Welcoming and friendly staff. We went back the next evening. They offered us limoncello and desserts. I recommend the Bigoli in salsa alla veneziana, the Fegato alla veneta and the Risottino al Go. Great choice of desserts.

We have booked a table for nine , four adults and five young kids 14 to 18 . We had more than an excelent diner all of us , the stuff is very friendly and very profesional, the chef made as a night to remember after two days of mediocre food in Venice we finally had some proper Italian food. We start with a selection of fine appetisers and a excelent wine , a very good grappa and we finisher with the best risotto and pasta that you can eat in Italy. Over all thank you guis for an excelent dinner , you have aur real appreciation for this great evening .

We found this restaurant 3 years after our first visit to Venice and we are delighted to find the same charm and quality. A cozy atmosphere, a quality meal and very pleasant service: all the elements for a family evening at the restaurant are there. Thank you for this good time.
