A beautiful little restaurant in the heart of Udine, with exceptional service and unwavering customer service. Delicious food, an excellent wine selection, and a welcoming, intimate atmosphere (there were six of us and we had a small room to ourselves). Special mention goes to the maître d', who advised us on our dishes and prepared a delicious tagliolini with white truffle right before our eyes.

This historic restaurant in the center of Udine is a must-visit. The atmosphere is refined and welcoming, and just walking in makes your mouth water. The menu items are carefully selected and carefully crafted, including both traditional and more contemporary dishes. Everything is served with care and top-quality ingredients. I tried the Cjarsones for the first time and found them exquisite. The service was very attentive and friendly, perhaps a little overly pushy, perhaps due to the proposed shifts of 7 or 9 p.m. So, it should be evaluated based on your needs. In any case, I recommend it.

They're packed because they're so good! Imaginative, slightly different interpretations of classic dishes, friendly, upscale but not arrogant – simply a place to feel good! Excellent value for money! Thank you, we had a wonderful time!

We were greeted with great kindness by the owner, even without a reservation on a busy evening. We had a wonderful time: the warm and refined atmosphere, the friendly and attentive service, the excellent food, and the prices in line with the venue. We will definitely be back. Trattoria Albergo Da Nando

02/01/2026: Friendly and professional staff. Formal location, beautifully set table, and the idea of ​​having company for the meal (the Christmas goose in this case) was a lovely one. The chef's "Welcome" was very welcome (photo), accompanied by two glasses of sparkling wine. Dinner then began with a bottle of white wine to enjoy throughout the evening and a seafood tasting appetizer consisting of three truly delicious dishes (photo). I liked the seafood first course (photo), but nothing special. The ravioli (photo) were not bad, but I was hoping for something more. The second courses were extraordinary: we opted for an octopus main course and a venison main course (photo). Both were delicious, both the meat and the fish, but especially the pairings with which the dishes were paired. Fabulous desserts, top-notch tiramisu, and the "arrivederci" (goodbye) was also greatly appreciated, consisting of three types of cookies served with a glass of Ramandolo (photo). All in all, we had a lovely evening and a satisfying dinner.

18/01/2026: Sometimes the best discoveries are made by chance. We were traveling to Gorizia and stopped at this trattoria, drawn by its location and the many reviews. It's definitely a place we'll be returning to. The owner is incredibly kind and always smiling, and explains the menu in detail. The ingredients are excellent and the food is excellent value.
12/01/2026: Sunday lunch, excellent food as usual. When it was time to leave, the owner proved to be a real lady, you know why. Congratulations!!!
