Everything is as it once was, many, many years ago, but perhaps a little more light would be needed, friendly Ligurian-style management, I would say that the portions, being a trattoria, might not be worthy of a starred restaurant.... It wouldn't go to waste, we really ate very little for a village trattoria and paid like a restaurant at lunchtime, the price for a first course, second course without side dish sweet and bitter (offered) and a bottle of Oltrepo Pavese wine is €30 per person. Anyway, I recommend it.

First time and a great discovery! It was my first time at Hostaria 3 Scalini and I was truly impressed. The place is simple and authentic, with a welcoming atmosphere and home-cooked cuisine steeped in tradition. Generous portions, tasty dishes, and friendly service: you immediately feel at home. Excellent value for money, too. I'll definitely be back, because places like this deserve to be discovered and frequented.

30/07/2023: Bella location sulle prime colline tortonesi. Locale spoglio, freddo pare quasi di entrare in una casa privata. Cucina decisamente ligure molto curata e di ottimo livello nella quale spiccano alcune vere eccellenze. Le acciughe ripiene, il coniglio alla ligure ed il sorbetto al mandarino tardivo erano veramente eccezionali. Ampia lista vini. Prezzi onesti. Unico punto dolente il servizio, davvero molto particolare. Ci hanno fatto attendere oltre 20 minuti poi si è presentato un cameriere che ci ha tenuto subito a precisare che lui era solo e che faceva quello che poteva. Tuttavia, non appena hanno iniziato ad arrivare le ordinazioni, portate da altri collaboratori, tutto ha funzionato benissimo e poi su tutto è emersa la qualità.
24/07/2023: Cena con mia moglie, locale consigliato da una sua collega, informale ma curato. Tutto il personale è estremamente gentile, si è subito a proprio agio. I piatti sono semplici, buoni e si percepisce la cura degli ingredienti, piccolo neo sono alcune porzioni che potrebbero essere a mio parere un po' più generose. Ottimo il loro tiramisù di frutta.
