Homebaked In Roma

I went to this bistro for the first time about ten years ago and then I returned over the years. What I have always liked is the attention and care both in the preparation of the dishes and in the service. Unfortunately, over the years, a lot has been lost... Let me start by saying that the place is really very small: it has three tables for two and a counter. I often find a lot of people, so you have to be lucky because they don't take reservations and they don't answer the phone. I usually order the pancakes, which aren't bad, but nothing to compare with the originals. Yesterday I ordered a bagel with crea cheese, it was pure disappointment. A small bagel, which looked like it had come out of the bag and was unheated. Too bad that besides the cream cheese there was nothing else, like salmon, avocado etc. Tea and herbal teas are cheap, but they are also of mediocre brands (Pompadour). I wanted to order a slice of cake, which is why I went there, but they didn't have any, they only had two muffins left (on a Sunday morning).

I wouldn’t recommend the scrambled eggs but the pancakes are amazing. Good service too!

Amazing brunch at good prices; pretty much everything you need on a Sunday morning… pancakes, benedicts, and very good coffee. The service was great… a true home vibe!

My husband and I love this place! We have ordered from here through Glovo and have also been here to dine-in. They have a cute little dog super soft and cute greeting the customers♥️ The girls are super kind and friendly while taking your order and servicing everyone. The food is delicious! We personally loved the french toast and the pancakes 🥞 We wish we found it earlier, we are definitely coming back and ordering ordering again 🌞

I'm a longtime fan of this place. I recently returned after many years and unfortunately I have to note that the quality of the food has worsened, despite prices that are not exactly popular. In particular, I was disappointed by the overcooked scrambled eggs that seemed to be from the day before and reheated in the microwave, and by the syrup for the pancakes which is absolutely not maple syrup. It's a shame because it's a really nice diner in true USA style.

Sometimes you just want a simple American breakfast, and this place hit the spot perfectly. Everything tasted home made and it was, OJ was fresh and the espresso was goooooood. I would recommend this place.

Bagel with eggs, bacon and cheddar cheese, very good! Freshly made natural orange juice ☺️
