A charming bistro/diner located in Rome. Recently expanded, it now offers several indoor and outdoor tables. The service is friendly and the food is good, with prices in line with the quality.

Perfect savory breakfast! One of the few, if not the only, in the area! Highly recommended.

Aperitif and snacks are normal, but the place is nice, it looks like a home kitchen with shelves full of bottles and wooden tables, chairs in the "old tavern" style that you don't find anymore, except in some private homes. Young and kind staff, attentive in the service. It is precisely this family atmosphere that encourages you to have a drink or a glass of wine, and they have several good ones too. I repeat that the neighborhood as I have underlined in other reviews (Ardeatina/Montagnola) is also very interesting and full of creative ideas. Among other things, Homemade has outdoor tables from which to observe the passage of people.

We stumbled on Homemade while staying just outside of Rome, and it ended up being one of the highlights of our trip. The name fits perfectly—everything about the place feels warm, genuine, and, well, homemade. The vibe is super relaxed. No rush, no pretense—just great food and kind people. It honestly felt more like having dinner at someone’s home than eating at a restaurant. If you’re anywhere near Rome, make the trip. You won’t regret it.

It's one of my favorite places. Very welcoming, variety of unusual and excellent quality tapas, attention and wide choice even in case of intolerances. It is the ideal place to chat while feeling pampered.
