A must-see for all wine lovers!

One of the best wineries in Alto Adige. One of the best Gewurtztraminers I've ever tasted, but especially their Pinot Noirs. Courteous and hospitable.

In the center of Termeno/Tramin, a renowned winery produces high-quality wines, primarily based on Traminer and Pinot Noir. The production of dealcoholized wines from Riesling grapes is interesting; we particularly liked the new Dr. Fischer, made from grapes that provide a low-alcohol base. The woman who welcomed us was very knowledgeable and helpful, allowing us to fully understand and appreciate Hofstätter wines.

A very friendly lady explained the different wines. The wines are very good. For the truly special wines, be sure to bring a well-filled wallet.

Both the Meczan and the Merlot are excellent! I recommend them.
