A superb view. Very friendly service. But the prices are simply too high. €7 for a single, extremely hard Kaminwurz (smoked sausage) with a roll is too much.

Great views, excellent food, and warm service—what more could you want from a Buschenschänke (wine tavern)? Definitely worth a stop—whether during a hike or for dinner.

Very nice, rustic wine tavern above Tisens. Beautifully surrounded by vines and a farm. The owners are very accommodating and nice. We had the Burenwurst with bacon dumplings and sauerkraut and the sour beef, both highly recommended. Price-performance perfect. Great place to stop for a break after a strenuous hike!

Beautiful place in the middle of the greenery. Excellent for a snack, in fact unfortunately you can't make a hot meal, but only cured meats, speck, cheeses, pickles and radishes. They also offer the inevitable strudel and chocolate cake. However, the place is truly wonderful!

Quaint restaurant with a great view and very dedicated staff. Delicious asparagus cream soup 😋 and the rest were also very happy with the boards. Great destination for hiking.

26/07/2025: Like every year, we were at the Patriarch with friends yesterday and let the fantastic culinary delights of your establishment melt in our mouths. It's a real treat to enter your beautiful, tastefully decorated establishment. When the staff, like me at your place, greet you with a friendly "Grüss Gott" paired with an unmistakable smile, you notice that people matter most here, both as employees and guests. This truly pleasant, friendly atmosphere extends into the kitchen as well. In the restaurant industry, it's often particularly difficult to remain pleasant, because the times we live in seem to bring more and more dissatisfied people to light. Therefore, we would like to restore balance and thank you for the lovely evening. Life is beautiful; yesterday was the best proof of that. We will definitely make the journey from Tramin to see you again next week. Thank you from two Austrians: Christina & Günther
