It was supposed to be a quick stop, but the service was very slow. Maybe because there's only one person serving all the tables?! As much as I love animals, I didn't like the dog roaming around in the kitchen at all! The food? Simple.

We really, really enjoyed our meal here. The menu is small but excellent, and the food is extremely tasty. Excellent service and a fantastic location.

Hofschank zur Pergola – Enjoyment with a Dream View A beautiful place to sit, with a magnificent view over the valley and into the mountains. During peak season, you should definitely reserve in advance to ensure a spot. An absolute culinary highlight: The speck board was simply amazing – the best we've had in South Tyrol. The three kinds of dumplings were also a dream, and the toast, the house specialty, is also highly recommended. The portions are huge – unfortunately, we didn't manage to finish everything, but that definitely wasn't due to the taste. Add to that, the price-performance ratio is unbeatable. We highly recommend it and will definitely visit again.

We visit Tramin every year. The Pergola Inn is our regular guest at least once. Everyone is very friendly and the food is excellent. We'd love to go back.

We were thrilled with the Pergola! Everything was perfect! You receive such a warm welcome, the garden is cozy, you can relax, unwind, and the view is beautiful! The menu is small, with a few select dishes, all delicious and freshly prepared! We came on the recommendation of our landlady from the Plonhof and were not disappointed! We ate at the Pergola three times and were always delighted by the atmosphere, the food, and the wine 🍷 All in all, three wonderful evenings, and we always looked forward to them! Our son's eyes still light up at the thought of the dumplings with goulash, the dumpling trifle, and the apple strudel! A picture-perfect place, with a beautiful view of the mountains and a serene, peaceful atmosphere 🌄. The service was kind and attentive, and we felt truly welcomed. To get there, you have to drive down a slightly rough road, but only for a short distance. There's a small parking lot inside with about 6 spaces 🚗. We tried the Toast della contadina: I really liked it, with a street food touch, while my wife, a little less so. Then the main course, Goulash with dumplings: a generous portion, but the meat wasn't as tender as we'd expected, and the dumplings lacked the right consistency. Prices are slightly higher than other places in the area 💶. In short: the view and welcome were excellent, but I expected more from the food.

Very very good food, good service and excellent place for a restaurant. The view was insane. Later that evening, behind the mountains there was a lighting/thunderstorm happening, so it was very cool watching that. And the walk to the restaurant gave me a proper Italien vibe. Small and thin roads, moped driving past, greens growing on the houses and then in the middle of no where there is this gem restaurant. #bellaitalia 🇮🇹
