Hofer Alpl In Fiè allo sciliar

A stay in the Dolomites cannot be improvised, especially not in winter. Even if you plan ahead, it's almost impossible to find a cabin that's available during the Christmas season. Only two or three accommodations brave the cold season to accommodate the most intrepid - and that was us. We had the privilege of staying at Hofer Alpl from December 26th to 29th and it was unthinkable that we would leave without a review of the experience as it exceeded anything we could have ever imagined. Hofer Alpl is the essence of Alpine hospitality, where warmth and sophistication harmonize without pretentiousness. Here there are no excesses to distract from the raw charm of the mountains, but a perfect balance between comfort and authenticity. An oasis where you feel appropriately welcomed and respects the soul of the place. The cuisine, rooted in local tradition, proves to be unexpectedly sophisticated. Each plate, generous and controlled, speaks elegantly of the region. The service, in turn, is of rare attentiveness and we would particularly like to thank Nora for her benevolence and tireless availability. Prices are far from the extravagances one might fear and remain extremely fair given the quality of the experience. The team demonstrates remarkable flexibility, responding to the smallest needs without ever seeming to be doing too much. And then there is the backdrop. Nature is sovereign and surrounds the hut with absolute silence.

We only went for lunch and didn't stay overnight. Eating coleslaw with bacon and tagliatelle with ragout was very tasty. Very friendly staff. Can't say anything about the overnight stay and the room.

Fantastically located hut with good food and quick service. Prices appropriate for the location. Card payment possible. It takes about 2 hours to walk from Völs, or 3 hours with small children.

With a group of friends we spent a wonderful New Year's Eve at the Hofer Alpl hut: quality food, very kind staff, very suggestive atmosphere and some nice unscheduled surprises. Rabbit this place also throughout the year to take a nice trip to the mountains. Don't miss the splendid view from the terrace!

Sensational South Tyrolean dishes, served by extremely friendly staff! There is also a wonderful view of the valley from Völs down to Bolzano.

It was one of the best meals in one of the huts in the Sciliar area. The friendly service rounded off the perfect impression. Or it was the delicious tiramisu and the magnificent view of the valley all the way to Bolzano.

Even though the weather could have been better today, Hofer Alpl was on our way at just the right time and provided us with delicious food and the best service. Unfortunately we were denied the great view.

Wir sind hier aif unseren Wanderungen eingekehrt und haben uns gut stärken können. Der Hof verfügt über einen schönen Außenbereich mit tollem Blick. Der Service war flott und freundlich, und die lokalen Spezialitäten haben uns auch gut geschmeckt.

Piacevole malga lontana dalla confusione dove si può godere di un' ottima vista e di una buona cucina. Il posto giusto per una pausa relax, dove rifocillarsi dopo una gradevole escursione in alpe de Siusi. Il personale è molto cortese, attento e sorridente. A fine pasto ci hanno anche offerto un liquore di loro produzione al pino mugo, gesto molto apprezzato e per nulla scontato da queste parti. Assolutamente consigliato
