Hofer Alpl In Fiè allo sciliar

Wonderful cabin, well maintained. A great stop even in cloudy or rainy weather. We had the soups and the Kaiserschmarren - super tasty and generous. Very nice and courteous service and chef! Absolute recommendation.

La baita HOFER - ALPL è un luogo straordinario immerso tra le montagne. La vista è semplicemente spettacolare, e il contesto naturale è ideale per chi cerca un po' di tranquillità immerso nel verde. Il prato circostante, ricco di fiori, è perfetto per un picnic in famiglia, offrendo tanto spazio per i bambini per giocare e divertirsi. Il servizio e la pulizia generale della baita sono buoni, anche se ho riscontrato un problema con il bagno: pur essendo pulito, c'era un forte odore di fogna che non era attribuibile al letame degli animali, che talvolta si percepisce in questo periodo di concimazione. Il cibo è stato un altro punto forte della nostra visita: piatti gustosi e preparati con ingredienti freschi. Anche il prezzo è stato adeguato alle portate che abbiamo ordinato, senza sorprese sgradevoli. Consiglio vivamente questo posto alle famiglie con bambini, dato che l'accesso è semplice e il luogo è sicuro e accogliente. Con qualche miglioramento riguardo l'odore nel bagno, sarebbe davvero perfetto!

A stay in the Dolomites isn't something you can improvise, especially in winter. Even with advance planning, it's almost impossible to find a hut that's available during the Christmas season. Only two or three accommodations brave the cold season to accommodate the most intrepid—and that was us. We had the privilege of staying at Hofer Alpl from December 26th to 29th, and it was unthinkable that we would leave without writing a report about the experience, as it surpassed everything we could have ever imagined. Hofer Alpl is the essence of Alpine hospitality, where warmth and refinement blend without ostentation. There are no excesses here that would detract from the raw charm of the mountains, but rather a perfect balance between comfort and authenticity. An oasis where you feel appropriately welcomed and the soul of the place is respected. The cuisine, rooted in local tradition, proves unexpectedly refined. Each plate, generous and masterful, speaks elegantly of the region. The service, in turn, is of rare attentiveness, and we would especially like to thank Nora for her kindness and tireless availability. The prices are far from the extravagances one might fear and remain extremely fair given the quality of the experience. The team demonstrates remarkable flexibility, responding to even the smallest needs without ever giving the impression of being overly busy. And then there's the setting. Nature is sovereign, framing the hut in absolute silence.

We only went for lunch and didn't spend the night. Eating coleslaw with bacon and tagliatelle with ragout was very tasty. Very friendly staff. Can't say anything about the overnight stay and the room.

Fantastically located hut with good food and quick service. Prices appropriate for the location. Card payment possible. It takes about 2 hours to walk from Völs, or 3 hours with small children.
