We stayed one night in the hut and it was an exceptional experience. Super comfortable and clean environment, all in renovated wood. The food is excellent and the staff is attentive and kind. We will return.

We stayed three days and had a really good time. Simple but very well-kept rooms with a high level of cleanliness throughout the entire structure. Substantial breakfast with local products, as well as dinner. We felt welcomed and pampered. Silence, nature and good food. Experience to be redone

The Hofer Alpl is simply beautiful. We were there for 5 nights and everything was just perfect, you feel very comfortable and welcome from the first moment, the food is just incredible and with the view it's just perfect. We will be back definitely.

Very nicely located hut with delicious coffee, ice cream for the children and good apple strudel. Plus goats and rabbits to feed.

Die Familie Hofer lässt den Aufenthalt zu einem Erlebnis werden. Die Übernachtungsgäste dürfen sich auf ein ausgezeichnetes Menü vom Lukas freuen. Tagesgäste wählen aus der Karte die Südtiroler Spezialitäten aus. Anreise ist zu Fuß und Rad von Ums aus möglich. Ein Shuttle für Übernachtungsgäste wird unkompliziert angeboten. Die Aussicht vom Fuße des Schlern ist atemberaubend. Wie kommen in jedem Fall wieder.

Mi sono recato in questa malga con amici dove ho trovato un posto incantevole racchiuso nel verde un vero sogno. Abbiamo anche ordinato dei dolci davvero deliziosi tutti fatti in casa e buonissimi. Assolutamente consigliabile

04/08/2024: This week we had lunch at Mill on wensday and saterday. Both times it was excellent. We loved the beef tartaar. The desserts are also very good. The winelist is amazing, we stuck to the wines from Sud Tirol. They are always very good. Service is excellent and the chef is fantastic. Alll the staff is very friendly and very qualified. Residence Restaurant Bar Kronenwirt

10/08/2024: THANKS!!! Dear Gamper family and also to all the waitresses (greetings especially to Michi) for the always great evenings with you. We stayed at the Kronenwirt at Easter 2024 and booked again at the end of September 2024. Really great apartments with services like a hotel with a very nice view over the Meran valley. According to my wife, the free Jura coffee machine is amazing. We ate at the Kronenwirt very often during all our stays. Simply very tasty food with incredibly nice hosts and the waitresses also live the “spirit” of friendliness and especially warmth. Me and my wife always feel completely at home here. Both Mr. and Mrs. Gamper are simply wonderful and very accommodating hosts and always do everything they can to make your return feel like coming home. I just took the trouble to look at all the Google reviews and I can't understand some of the negative ones. Of course it can take a while if all tables are occupied. You should also make a reservation in the evening. But why is it always full? The waitresses are always on the move quickly and always try everything to give the guest a very good feeling. I haven't experienced this in Germany for a long time. In any case, I'm on vacation and if it takes a little longer, that's not a problem because I have time. And that has never happened during my stays either. We definitely feel very comfortable here and look forward to coming back.
