We ordered the typical mixed lunch box (meat and fish). Really very tasty! The internal space is small and for this reason, with a little more attention, with some typical Japanese decorative elements, it could become a jewel!

My friend and I recently dined at Ho bento and had an exceptional experience from start to finish. The food was nothing short of amazing—every dish was incredibly fresh and bursting with flavor. We tried the Tteokbokki, Bibimbap, Fried Chicken, and Japchae, and each dish was a delightful experience. What made our experience even better was the service. Our server was not only friendly and attentive but also took the time to guide us through how to enjoy each dish properly. His explanations added an extra layer of appreciation to our meal. The ambiance of the restaurant was cozy and inviting, making it the perfect spot for a relaxed meal. Ho bento is definitely worth a visit! Thank you very much for the great food ♥️

I'm a Japanese person living in Northern Italy. I visited with a friend on vacation in April 2024. I visited after seeing a photo of ramen, but ramen was not currently on the menu. Instead, I had takoyaki and my friend had curry udon. If I were to evaluate it based on Japanese tastes and taking into account the perspective of Japanese food eaten in Italy, I think the curry udon was too sweet. The takoyaki seemed a little overcooked. That said, there are only a few restaurants where you can eat Japanese cuisine, so I hope they continue to do their best.

Hobento restaurant is a true hidden gem that left me speechless. Its charming and authentic atmosphere, with just two tables and a counter, made me feel as if I had been transported directly to one of those traditional Japanese restaurants. What makes Hobento unique is its authentic Japanese cuisine, which is notable for not including sushi on the menu. Instead, the focus is on traditional Japanese dishes, which were presented impeccably and deliciously. One of the most interesting features of the menu is the possibility of ordering trays, called "boxes" in the menu, which allow you to taste a variety of typical Japanese dishes, excluding the classic sushi. This option is perfect for those who are unsure about what to order or who want to try a little of everything. Every dish I tasted was an explosion of authentic and genuine flavours. The care and attention to detail in the preparation of the dishes was evident in every bite. The delicious flavor of the dishes particularly struck me, but one that really left its mark was the Katsu Curry, with its unique combination of crunchiness and softness, accompanied by a rich and enveloping sauce. The Hobento restaurant offers a gastronomic experience that goes far beyond a simple meal. While I am aware that the price is slightly higher than average, I can confirm that every penny spent is more than compensated by the quality of the ingredients and the culinary experience provided. In conclusion, Hobento is much more than just a Japanese restaurant. It's a culinary journey through the gastronomic traditions of Japan, with an authentic atmosphere and delicious dishes that will satisfy even the most demanding palates. If you're looking for a memorable dining experience without sushi, Hobento is the place to visit.

Seven Restaurant Palermo

24/08/2024: It is necessary to order, the atmosphere is perfect, the food gives the impression that it is going to be an experience, it was definitely a treat for the eyes, the service is too busy and each waiter does his own thing.
21/08/2024: ✨Stunning Views, Memorable Sunset, but Service Falls Short ✨ Seven Restaurant in Palermo is one of the city's most renowned skybars, offering a rare chance to enjoy breathtaking views from above. Since Palermo isn’t known for its tall buildings, this spot provides a unique opportunity to admire the city’s rooftops, churches with their iconic domes, and the sprawling cityscape. It’s the perfect setting for an unforgettable experience, especially if you’re lucky enough to catch a sunset as stunning as the one we saw—truly the most beautiful of my life. However, there are a few things to be mindful of. First, make sure to book a table in advance. It’s important to note that if you reserve a table for dinner, you are expected to order a full meal. We were disappointed to learn that simply ordering desserts was not an option, even though we had booked for dinner time. Unfortunately, our experience was marred by some issues with the service. Although it was raining during our visit, the staff seemed indifferent to the weather conditions. They didn’t offer us the option to move inside or provide umbrellas, and when I asked for something to dry off the wet chairs and table, I received strange looks instead of assistance. While the ambiance and views are undoubtedly special, the prices reflect the exclusivity of the venue. Both the food and drinks are on the expensive side, but if you’re looking to create a memorable moment with someone you love, this place could be worth the splurge. Overall, Seven Restaurant offers a one-of-a-kind experience with its panoramic views and romantic setting, but the service could definitely use some improvement.

28/08/2024: Although it is a tourist trap I enjoy coming to this establishment when I go to Palermo. Prices are extreme for sure but expected considering the location. The staff behind the counters are generally friendly. It can be a nice place to get some relief from the heat and enjoy some sicilian sweet or savory treats.
25/08/2024: I only tried the sweet part for breakfast. All good.
