09/06/2025: Not great ok If you can't find anywhere else over priced

02/06/2025: I visited Tablinum in Desenzano twice. Both times, the fish tasted good, but the portion sizes were extremely different: one time it was way too much, the other way too little. The service itself was attentive, but completely overwhelmed – which was unfortunately also due to the fact that the chef preferred to attract customers outside rather than help his waiter. Only when new guests arrived did he help out – until then, tables were left uncleaned and the service could barely keep up. It's a shame, because the food and location were actually promising. However, I won't be coming back because of the chef's arrogant and unsupportive manner.
