Himalaya's Kashmir In Roma

During my recent trip to Rome, I had the pleasure of dining at Himalaya Kashmir Indo-Pakistani Restaurant, a hidden gem worth venturing out of the tourist area for. Upon arrival, we received a warm welcome and were impressed by the unique interior decor, which transported us to Kashmir. The vibrant colors and traditional elements created a cozy atmosphere, setting the tone for a memorable dining experience. We ordered traditional Lassi, chicken and mutton dishes, and Naans. The service was prompt, and we were served quickly, allowing us to indulge in the delectable flavors. While the Lassi serving size was a bit small, the food exceeded our expectations. The biryani showcased authentic flavors, with a perfect balance of spices, and the serving size was generous. The mutton korma was equally impressive, with tender meat and a rich, creamy sauce. Although the chicken karahi deviated from traditional recipes, it was incredibly tasty, with a unique blend of spices. The garlic naan was freshly baked, with a perfect crunch and flavor. We also tried the Kashmiri tea, which tasted authentic, though I suggest offering it unsweetened to accommodate diabetic diners. What truly made our experience special was the passionate service. Our server was knowledgeable, friendly, and attentive, ensuring that our needs were met throughout the meal. The prices were reasonable, considering the high quality of food and service. Overall, I highly recommend Himalaya Kashmir Indo-Pakistani Restaurant, awarding it 5 stars. The authentic flavors, cozy atmosphere, and exceptional service make it a must-visit for anyone in the area seeking an authentic Indo-Pakistani dining experience. While it may require a bit of a drive from Rome's tourist attractions, the journey is well worth it. Be sure to try their signature dishes and enjoy the warm hospitality. I look forward to returning and exploring more of their menu offerings.

In this area only one pakistani restaurant is bit high price but food is nice tast like proper daisy we really like garlic naan 1achari chatni and very juicy muton krhahi but very small porshan and mix grill is really tasty end of dinner we order karak chaye

Food was excellent, and so was the service. Definitely will come back! We had a vegetable kashmir korma, basmati, the vegetarian mix apetizer and mutun biryani. All were amazing.

Locale un po' troppo soffocato dai molti tavoli segno però che evidentemente la clientela deve essere molta (ieri sera 09/08 non è un test probante da questo punto di vista) ma di contro c'è da segnalare la presenza di più tavoli occupati da indiani il che dovrebbe indicare buon segno. Non il top per la cura dell'ambiente.

Amando in famiglia la cucina indiana pensavamo di conoscere e di frequentare le migliori proposte romane. Ci siamo sorpresi nel vedere al primo posto di una classifica di gradimento un ristorante che non conoscevamo è quindi siamo venuti Forse siamo stati sfortunati nell’incrociare una serata no in cucina ma a fronte di un prezzo nella media abbiamo ricevuto una qualità al di sotto della media e sicuramente delle aspettative. Non sono sicuro che gli daremo una seconda chance.

Se vuoi mangiare indiano è il posto giusto. Menu vario. Ottimo pollo tanduri, spinaci, melanzane , il pane indiano etcetc. Servizio molto buono. Consiglio
