The only place of its kind, very wide offer especially for vegetarians. An appetizer, first course of rice and second course pay €18 each. Rice with vegetables worth 10. Tasting it, I felt like I was in India. Too bad about the drinks. 1 liter of water in a plastic bottle for €3.50 also not.

Best Indian food I've ever had! The butter chicken was insane, the tikki masala was beyond expectations and the mango lassi was amazing 😍 Must go if you're an Indian food lover!

We tried samosas, jhinga pakora, chicken mint and a pancake-shaped dessert whose name I don't remember. Everything is so good! We'll be back to try more. The waiters and the manager were good and kind.

I came for dinner with friends, it was late and the place was half empty, which helps with the noise in the small rooms but makes the place a bit cold. Nonetheless, thanks to the advice of the very kind waiter we had a luxurious dinner! Honestly, everything was good and I can say that I want to come back to discover the menu better. I recommend the place to all those who like spicy food and to those who for once want to try flavors different from those offered by the local cuisine.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at the Himalaya Indian restaurant in Udine and I must say that it was an exceptional experience. Since my arrival, I was welcomed with great kindness and courtesy by the staff, who proved to be highly professional and helpful throughout the evening. The food was absolutely delicious, prepared with high quality ingredients and great attention to detail. Each dish was an explosion of authentic flavours, capable of transporting me on a culinary journey through India. I particularly liked the chicken tikka masala and the chicken in tomato, curry and honey sauce, but every dish on the menu is worth trying! The impeccable service, combined with the goodness and variety of the food, makes the Himalaya restaurant a perfect choice for anyone who is in Udine and wishes to enjoy high quality ethnic cuisine. I highly recommend this restaurant to all lovers of Indian cuisine and to those who want to experience new flavors in a welcoming and refined environment. I can't wait to return soon to savor these delicacies again and experience another evening of good food and hospitality!

First time tasting Indian food, a little skeptical at first but we changed our minds at the first bite! The place is elegant and typical, from the drawings on the walls to the smells, an experience absolutely worth trying especially for those who want to explore new foods!

30/07/2024: Small directly managed pizzeria, with wood-fired oven. Excellent quality of pizza. Prices increased compared to last year. Suitable for takeaway. It needs a restyling. Located in the gallery, near the old cinema, the cell phone doesn't work... but sometimes it can be an advantage. Free wifi.
03/07/2024: We returned after not being there for a while and we can say that it still remains one of the best pizzas in the city! Great ingredients and great service. Recommended!

24/08/2024: Camping - Excellent location, clean and tidy facilities; staff and owner Mrs. Cristina who must be discovered little by little... they give you sympathy and friendliness, but they have their times ;)) It has everything: quiet, location (50m from the cable car that takes you to the top of the Zoncolan, Madessa park and very pretty village; there is a MAXI market in the center of the village with everything and at adequate prices), excellent food and excellent pizza ; convenient waste and recycling collection, free washing machine, hot water for dishes. Chemical toilet easy to empty, water available near the pitches, tables and benches available in the higher pitches. Terraced camping. 7 peaceful walks for everyone; Note - excursion to the top of Zoncolan, about 2 hours of walking (I mean 2 hours of movement, but we spent a total of 4.5 hours with about 2.5 hours of break) with an average gradient of 12% therefore demanding but doable (having a lot of water because there is nothing along the way). You arrive at the Tamai refuge (which has 5 alpacas) which has the kitchen open until 3.30pm. The sandwich bar, however, is always open. We are the Ferrara - Fabio family
