We ate under the pergola, despite the very hot days it was ventilated and the place was quite cool and very relaxing; the food very good (if you like cured meats, the lard is a must try). Having said that, service times are very slow (2 and a half hours for lunch, between one course and another the wait was about an hour, there were three of us and the place was quite busy) they told us that they were understaffed because a chef had fallen ill, but reading other reviews it seems to be the negative point of the place, a shame otherwise it would be 5 stars.
We stopped for dinner after a trip to the mountains.
What can I say....very welcoming place and probably recently renovated, you can eat inside or on the veranda.
The very friendly and approachable owner recommended an excellent appetizer of cured meats and vegetables in oil accompanied by hot homemade piadinas.
The dishes are refined and truly exquisite.
The Bergamo-style casoncelli and the smoked scamorza spinach gnocchi are excellent.
Excellent experience.
